When Sasha hit the floor I looked up at the strength my mate has. Sasha is one of my best and strongest fighters. My mate began to back away from us like she was expecting us to attack her.

"I'm leaving," she announced.

Stop her. Heath growled at me and I ordered Oscar my beta to block her exit I stood my ground firmly in front of her.

"The only way you're leaving is if you go with me," I said. She smiled.

"You really think you can stop me," she stated and it wasn't a question.

"I know I can sweetheart," I said. She didn't like that.

She removed her aviators revealing her beautiful honey shaded eyes. She slipped the shades into her pocket and popped her neck and shoulders. She's prepared to fight me on this.

"You b***h," Sasha growled.

I didn't have the chance to order Sasha to stand down. She launched herself at my mate who quickly turned around and ran out into the open.

I thought maybe she didn't know she was a wolf until she spun around jumped up in the air and kicked Sasha out of her way. They both landed on the floor. She was taking Sasha on in human form.

"Edith, don't hurt her," Elijah's new beta called out to my mate. He snapped his bone back in place and stood up as if nothing had happened.

"She attacked me twice," my mate said she's smiling.

Sasha stood up again and ran towards her. My mate caught her by the mussel and closed it wrapping her legs around Sashas head.

"She's your wolf tell her to stand down or I will kill her," My mate demanded looking at me she didn't even look like she was using that much force but Sasha couldn't move.

"Sash stop," I growled and she stopped thrashing.

"I'm letting go. Attack me again and that's the last thing you'll do," my mate whispered into her ear sternly. She let go. Sasha didn't move.

My mate stood up. I couldn't really process what just happened. She took on a wolf in skin form. She radiates power. One of a young male alpha.

Her body toned and slim. Her skin looked like she had a tan but not one you get at a salon or a spray but a tan from being out in the sun. Her ash blonde almost white hair shined like velvet with the light of the Sun against it.

Despite how cold it is all she has on is a pair of gray military pants fitted to her hips, the bottoms tucked into black combat boots and a fitted navy blue vneck. She dusted herself off. I noticed a pair of dog tags around her neck. I looked at the guy and he had some on too.

He made his way to Sasha carefully. He didn't go near her but once he saw she was okay he walked over to my mate. I growled as he picked up her glasses and handed them to her.

"You alright?" he asked her. "You're in control right?"

"I'm fine I would have killed her if I wasn't," Edith said.

"I can't believe they would just cut you lose like that. You can hurt someone,"

"I have a low dosage. Enough to keep her at bay. Not enough to change her," their conversation confused me. "Do you know her?"

"Not but my wolf seems to think so,"

"You're my mate," Sasha growled. I walked over to her taking my shirt off before I could hand it to her the guy shoved me away taking his shirt off and handing it to her. I smiled lifting my hands in surrender as he glared at me.

"That's weird," my mate said.

"Yeah, it is," he agreed.

"Its the mate bond," Elijah said. He had a smile on his face. "This is Isaac my beta,"

"I should kick you in the fucken head Ice. You ripped through my shirt, stupid," my mate growled. I looked over at her she was sticking her middle and index finger through the claw marks on her shirt.

"My bad, E I don't know what happened," She let out a heavy sigh looking us all over.

"Let's hope your new pack never gets flagged. Have fun with that," she said and started to walk away.

"I know you are compromised," he said she stopped right in front of me and growled.

"Say that or mention that to anyone else and I will decapitate your ass and hang your head above my bed," her eyes turned gold. like a light bulb went off in her head.

"You have two free years, E. Stay. I can help you keep Flayme calm during that time,"

"I have five months and two more weeks to go. I have enough enhancement to keep her on lock down. I don't need your help. I don't need you at all. I never did,"

"So, why did you come? I don't buy the bullshit about your curiosity. I know you better than that. We've known each other since we were kids,"

"I wanted to kill you. You did this to me. I'm stuck out here because you, you got a little too close. You compromised and took me down with you. I changed my mind when I saw that Elijah here is your new alpha,"

"That only sounds a little like you," the beta nodded.

"I owe him," she said looking at Elijah. He looked confused. "Our scores are settled,"

"Is that what you're going to do? Go around and settle scores with all the packs you've taken from? It's a long list Edithian. You've taken a lot," she growled and faced him.

"You have some nerve talking about long lists. What did you grow a fucken conscience all of a sudden? Now you have feelings and care about all the s**t we've done?

"Its my job. I like to kill. I like letting Flayme lose so she can tear s**t up. I'm a fucken animal. You've been acting like this for a few months now. When are you going to put it through your head that I'm not in love with you. I feel nothing for anyone. The only person that can possibly get an emotional reaction from me might be Sam and I wouldn't hesitate to pull that trigger if I had to. So f**k you, Isaac.

"Play the good little beta act like one of them just know that I know what and who you really are. Don't preach that s**t to me, motherfucker I made you who you are," His eyes turned dark with anger as they faced off.

"Do whatever you want Edith. I'm not going to try and help you from what you are anymore. Sam was right. You aren't anything other than the cold hearted b***h Casian turned you into. All there's left is the CF 64, Alpha 0067," She didn't look away.

"Will those really be your final words to me, Isaac?" she asked calmly her expression void of all emotion.

He backed away from her his confidence giving away into fear. Her hands balled up into fists. Sasha quickly stood up and slipped in between the both of them.

"What the f**k?" Elijah asked. I had to admit I was thinking the same exact thing.

"Calm down Edith," Isaac said pulling Sasha behind him.

It took me a second but I finally noticed the change in her. Something in her was completely surging out power. Angry power. My wolf and Elijahs wolf became alert. The air around her changed the gold in her eyes began to glow brightly.

"Stop her, Dom," Elijah said.

"How?" I asked.

"Mates touch," I walked closer to her.

All I have to do is get a little skin to skin contact to soothe that anger. She felt me coming and turned her glowing eyes towards me. Before she could attack me I grabbed her arm turned her around and wrapped my body around her. She was startled at first. Her body trembled for an instant.

"I think it's working," Elijah said.

"What are you?" she asked before her body shut down and she passed out in my arms.
