2. Promise

"I told you..." She sobbed harder, the tears falling freely.

"I said I was going to divorce you if it ever happens and I'm going to do it, it wouldn't be legal because I'm leaving your life, right now and at this moment!" She stated, no wavering in her voice.

"Karen, let's solve this, what about our daughters?, Our baby?" He rasped impatiently, trying to hold her hand.

"I know what to do with this pregnancy and my daughter's as well, I'll leave every single thing you've bought for me except for the outfits and the money in my account which is probably not much because I told you I don't need it"

"Have a good life with your woman" she snorted and pulled out her phone and her drugs from the bag before storming out of the room.

"Karen please, don't do this" he pleaded, running after her.

"I thought I could trust you with my husband, you knew this and you couldn't even tell me!" She rubs the tears that was falling freely, her top was getting soaked.

"I'm so sorry" Randy muttered, he knew this has taken over to another side the minute he saw Jake with those blazing red eyes, he was in pain.

"If you take another step behind me, Jake, you'll have to prepare two coffins which one would be for me and and the other one for your baby that you didn't think of when f*****g another woman"

The threats in her words weaken him to the point of losing balance, he dared not move and just watch her leave.

One thing that can make a man this out of control even though he looks like a greek God and manages a very strong and powerful Mafia Clan, is a woman.

Not any ordinary woman but the one he loves, the mother of his children.

"I'll go after her, she might be planning to do something crazy" he muttered.

"You know she meant every single words she says, I'll go after her instead" Randy stopped him and followed after her.

"Mom?, You're..." Kylie was trying to say something but noticed the swollen look and dried tears on her mom's cheeks.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Elena??" Karen calls, ignoring her daughter as she stood in the big living room.

"Ma'am" in walks in a young lady, she's the twins tutor and also their nanny.

"Please go to my room and pack every single belongings of mine and my unborn baby, right away!"

"But ma'am, is everything..."

"Do what I asked you to do, no questions asked!?!" She yelled in frustration.

"Mom, can you just tell me what's going on and stop all these?" Kylie says again, trying to hold her hand.

"Where's your sister?" She asked.

"In dad's study"

"Come with me" Karen says and went to the study, as they approach the room, they hear silent sobs but didn't know where it was coming from until they spotted her seated in Jake's swivel chair with his laptop in front of her.

"Mom" Kendall jumped up and closes the laptop whilst wiping her tears.

"Why are you crying?" She put aside her issue and faced her daughter's own.

"It's nothing, I was watching a movie on Dad's laptop and it was emotional"

"I told you not to watch any high rated dramas, what the hell were you watching!!" She raised her tone, Kendall tries to stop her from seeing what she was doing.

Karen was brought to the sight of Jake and the woman she caught him with making out in the same office and that same position she saw them today.

"Now that you know what your father did wrong, he cheated on me and I'm leaving his house, his life as well. Unto you to choose if you're going to stay with him or go with me!"

A very hard decision is what she throws to her daughter's, even though she was their mother, they barely knew each other for 1 and a half years so it was obvious whom they were going to choose.

"I'll go with you" Kendall retorted by raising her hands, her sister was still being indecisive.

"Mom, can't you just think about it if this is what you want, you're breaking our beautiful family if you should leave"

"So, your dad was enhancing the family when he went out and have s*x with another woman?" She was trying her best not to yell.

"And Kendall, there's no turning back to this decision, you won't have a dad anymore if you decide to go with me" she stated and the girl nodded, she has a strong mind just like her mom and has made her decision.

" Mom, this is insane, you can't do this!" Kylie attacked, standing in their way.

"I'm sorry to say Kylie but you're not allowed to call me that anymore, because the minute you chose your dad, I erased you as my daughter"

"What?" She scoffed In shock.

"Mom!??" She yelled, stamping her legs and unable to believe this nonsense.

"I'm not your mom, you don't have a mom, you have your dad!" She yells back and take Kendall out of the place.

They went into her room to get her things packed as well and Kylie has made a call to her dad to tell him that his house and family was about to get crushed.

"Babygirl, it seems you're ready to live a fatherless life, let's go" she was burning inside as she dragged her luggages, about 4 boxes of her and two of Kendall.

"Ma'am, please don't do this, it's a huge decision and you're not even looking back at the..."

"You know what hurts, he could easily have an affair without ignoring me and treating me like a problem. He never once went to the hospital with me, we kissed less, he'll say he's tired everytime I need him and he's having s*x with another woman?. If you can still cope with such a life, take my position after I leave!" She snorted and got a message that her Uber driver has arrived.

They went out and the driver was packing their luggages into the trunk when suddenly someone stopped him.

"Don't you dare pick another box!!" Jake yelled at him before going to the passengers seat.

"For Goodness sake, why are you doing this!"

"Hurry up, please" she ignored him.

"You can leave if you want to, I'm done begging but let go of my daughter, she's mine!"

"I knew your apologies were fake, I'm not sad that you're admitting it but this young lady here is ours not yours only and she has decided to go with me, I hate you and it'll forever be this way" she slammed the door, it hit his hand but he didn't care.

With that, their car left for the airport.

On to start a new life.

A life without Jake.

A life without the Mafia Boss.

A life without Kylie.

A life elsewhere, not in Manhattan.

A life somewhere, In Wellington, New Zealand.
