"Do you think I should miss my appointment with the doctor today?" Karen asks as she caresses her baby bump. She was sitting on the bed, wearing a pink flower patterned lingerie with her back rested on the headboard of the bed. She was inside her matrimonial bedroom with her husband, Jake, who was preparing to leave for work. He grabbed his phone and nodded. "Yes, you did." "I'm asking you if I should miss an appointment with the doctor, this is your baby!" "I'm not denying, am I?" He retorted. "I simply gave you my opinion, I guess I shouldn't have replied" with that said, he walked out of the room. "Jake?" She calls, he didn't wait even though he heard her calling. She already knew it was going to turn out like this because she's been seeing some changes in him lately, he'll rather be blunt than cross his words with her and that is really hurting her feeling. She's just 4 months pregnant and it wasn't like this 3 months ago, what made him suddenly turned his back to her Is the question behind this everyday mystery. She forces herself out of the bed and held her waist for support, she knew he would stop by at his daughters room and went there directly. As soon as Karen saw that he was about to head out, she turns away and couldn't actually run really well, he saw her but didn't say a word and left for his work. ? Later in the afternoon. "Thank you doc, sincerely can't wait to have this baby boy in my hand." Yes, Karen just did an ultrasound to find out her baby's s*x as scheduled by the doctor who she had already made friend with in her time of coming here. Her heartbeat increased for no particular reason and that life changer event not an opportunity was now right in front of her. Her box bag dropped to her side with her inner system jolting in pain, she was staring at her husband hovering over a lady, a lady that's not her. "K...karen" he stutters, pulling away from the unfamiliar lady who also rushed to get her things. "You wanna run?, I saw you there's no reason to do that" Karen muttered like a psychopath.
