CHAPTER LXI : SELF – TRAINING

-Kurezma-

            We’ve trained so hard these past few days with all the armies of the Psychic Nation. The one training us is their general yet the Ordo king is sometimes here to supervise us. He also has his duties and responsibilities as the king of the Psychic Nation so expect that he will not be always there to handle us.

            But it’s not like we can’t handle ourselves, so it’s fine for us to train without him. We still have each other and the general to work with us. And most of all, we’re not the same students from our own tribes where we needed so much attention from our teachers to be able to learn.

            Right now, we can train on our own. Just like what’s happening now. The Ordo king isn’t here to help us along our training, he already taught us a lot and that is already enough. All we have to do is to apply what we’ve learned from him. The general is also not here, I don’t know where he went but it’s their own business and not mine to mind.

            He asked us if he can count on us to train by ourselves, and our answers were firm yes. We’re old enough to handle ourselves and we’ve learned so many things in order to do it on our own. So he can surely count on us. So right now, it’s called self-training, and that wouldn’t be so bad.

            In fact, it’s a good way for us to train on our own so that we would realize or to recognize something about ourselves. It’s time for us to discover whatever things we can discover about ourselves. It’s time to check whether we can do things or not, or we can do things better than we thought we can.

            I am so excited about this, as I trained last time, I only focused on training my electric powers, my strength, and my fighting skills. I forgot to train the other things I can do with my power, I forgot to explore my abilities and my capacity as the Azhakkstad Hero. And now, it’s my goal to know more about my capabilities.

            I won’t become powerful that easily if I won’t do anything about it. And that’s what I wanted to know right now. I immediately looked for Ran to ask him about what fairies can do. I wanted to learn first-hand, reading books isn’t enough to know my potentials. Good thing, we have someone here who can help me with it.

            “Hey, may I interrupt you for now?” I asked him as he saw me approaching him, he’s having a rest for now so I am not that kind distraction to him

            “Hey…” he greeted back “Why are you asking to interrupting me right now?” he asked awkwardly “Gosh, I’m so sorry, language barriers hehehe” he said as he got the wrong idea from my question. Is this a result of coming from different countries? Ahahahaha just kidding

            “I mean, I have to ask you something… I need you help” I repeated myself

            “Oh… In our place we say directly, that’s why I wondered why you asked me if you could interrupt me ahahahaha I mean you can just interrupt me without asking my permission, if you do that’s not interrupting anymore ahahahaha you know what I mean?” he started talking so fast as he laughed

            “Okay ahahaha you have a point… so about the thing I wanted to ask you for help…” I diverted the topic back to my purpose why I came for him

            “Yea about that… what can I help you?” he asked me

            “Uhmmm… how do I put this?” I whispered to myself “Since you’re a Fairy, I wanted to know more about you powers, you know… for me?” I asked awkwardly as I encountered difficulty looking for the exact word since I was so shy and second is the language barriers ahahaha

            “Oh… that was a messy thought to put in a question, but thank goodness I’m a Sioga, and I understand you” he said with his weird accent, I don’t know what it is, but it seemed to be a Fairy-thing ahahahaha

            “That’s great ahahahaha” I commented

            “So if you want to know more about our powers as Sioga, you have to listen carefully because this is somehow tricky” he said informing me

            “I hope you’ll make it understandable for me ahahaha” I said

            “Well, first you have to know that we Siogas are not the most powerful people here in Azhakkstadd… we just hold the highest kind of magic, and that is to manipulate things within a man’s reach. We have the power to manipulate everything using our own hand, but not to manipulate its full existence” he started explaining to me as he looked at me in the eye.

            “Like this one…” he shoved his hand and moved the ground then made a small earth golem “I can do this but I have to use another kind of power to make it move like this…” he said as he shoved his other hand that made the earth golem move on its own

            “Unlike the Dimians, they can make a lot of things like this simultaneously and in an instant. They can control the Earth as if it’s just nothing to focus about. As in, it just comes out naturally. While us Siogas, we use certain magic to control the Earth” he continued as he put down his hand as the earth golem dropped on the ground

            “You understand?” he asked that I answered with a nod

            “We only use magic to control everything, but that magic is limited too. Like we use, air magic, fire magic, water magic, earth magic, ice magic, electric magic, metal magic, soul magic, and so on… and we need to learn all of those. The only thing is that, we can learn them but it’s very difficult to master them” he said enumerating all of it

            “Unlike those people from other tribes, they don’t have to study it in order to use it. They don’t have to use any magic. It’s like, those are something they are born with. They don’t need magic because it’s within them. We Siogas have the power to manipulate”

            “So if you wish to master all the elements then you have to ask all of them… if you wanted to learn much from me about how do I manipulate everything you see and you don’t see, I can help you” he said as he smiled waiting for me to answer him

            “Yes! I wanted to learn” I answered… gosh, I wonder how hard could it be

            “It’s not so hard… I think” he said as stood up and invited me to do so “I mean, you’re blessed by the Gods to be as powerful as you are, so you will learn it in no time” he added. I think so too, but I won’t be so sure

            “Ok, so here’s what you have to do” he said as we got to an open field somehow far from the others “I want you to sit down and focus on yourself, feel your presence and your power that flows within you. After you do that, feel everything that is around you, and try to connect with them” he started telling me how to do it

            “If you can connect with them, try moving them… and that’s it, that’s how simple it is. If you can move them now, it would be easy for you to do it next time. Even without meditating anymore. I know you can do it, you’re stronger than any Sioga…” he said as he stepped back while motivating me.

            I remember the time when Iduma, the Goddess of the Earth Elements taught me about this ahahahaha I don’t want to start destruction here. Just kidding, I know why things gone wild like that, I wasn’t that stable back then so I made mistakes. Now is the right time to correct all of it.

            I closed my eyes and started feeling myself again. I took a deep breath and calmed my mind. After a few seconds, I can feel my power gradually electrifying my whole body just like before, but right now, it doesn’t bother me anymore. I feel like I can handle it.

            I opened my eyes slowly and the power that brought a tingling sensation over me subsided. I stood up and looked at Ran

            “Did you make it?” he asked as he ran towards me. I raised my hand and moved the clouds above us to cover us from direct sunlight

            “Woah that’s amazing, and… quick… It took me days before I learned that!” he said as he yelled then laughed “Seriously, that is not something you’ll learn in just a few minutes, Kurezma… you really are something” he spoke again

            “I don’t know what to say ahahaha maybe because I improved so much that I can just control my own power that easy” I answered him having no idea about what he’s telling me

            “No wonder why you instantly became what you are right now in just a few months…” he said bringing up that topic again, but to tell you the truth, I don’t know what they’re talking about ahahahaha

            It’s not instant that I just became strong just like that… I worked hard to be like this, I trained so hard with my friends. And… I don’t see any difference from what I am now and what I am before ahahahaha am I really that strong now? I wish I could see myself

            “Now that you learned it, I’m thirsty… get my water” Ran said as he put his hands on his waist

            “Are you ordering me?” I asked him, he just raised his eyebrows as an answer to me

            “That’s the least thing you could do ahahahaha” he said and then chuckled. Gosh! I raised my hand towards the direction where he placed his bag. I opened his bag in my mind and grabbed the water, after a few seconds I felt it in my grasp and handed it to him

            “Thanks, that was cool” he said

            “You’re welcome” I said shortly, he drank his water for a moment and then looked at me

            “By the way, if you wish to learn to master the other elements, ask everyone” he reminded me as he started walking back to where we sat a while ago.
