"What do you mean? Are you attacked like we were?” our Chieftain asked in confusion as he had the hint that we were not the only ones attacked by the terrorists. Maybe so, that’s why they’re having their meeting right now. He sat on his chair firmly while locking his gaze towards the others.
“You were too?” asked the Chieftain in carob brown cloak “We were too, good thing it’s not that severe, and we got rid of them immediately” he added as he shifted his expression from shocked into calm and he swiftly changed glances from our chieftain to the others as well.
“Not for us, many Truenos died due to that attack” our chieftain stated with sadness in his tone, he was so sorry for what had happened. His fists were clenching as he told the story.
“May I know who the attackers where?” the chieftain wearing amethyst purple cloak asked as they all turned to our chieftain in his careful tone
“Sahirs” he initiated “Yanars” he added as looked firmly to the chieftains wearing imperial red and Byzantium colored cloaks, they both looked shock by what they heard. They caught off guard as their jaws dropped down hearing my chieftain spoke.
“What are you saying? We know nothing with your accusations” the chieftain in imperial red defended his tribe as he leaned forward giving emphasis with what he's saying
“Besides, if we caused the trouble, we shouldn’t be here facing all of you” the chieftain in Byzantium added as he shoved his hand adding strength upon his point as his face was fixed and straight
“That’s weird” I whispered as I got bewildered by what I had just heard and come to think of it… I’m sure it’s them I saw them twice…
“Yea weird, because you, Trueno’s were also attacking us last time” I heard someone spoke out of nowhere. I turned to the guy sitting next to me. He looked so dark towards me as he wears a nice well-designed juniper green coat with cyan in-shirt that made him appear suave at the same time intimidating.
His one leg placed on the other in a ‘4’ position as he turned to me meeting his serene green eyes. He just sat so comfortable while listening to the meeting as well. His eyelids flickered as he didn't break his stare towards me.
“Who are you? And I’m positive we weren’t attacking anyone knowing the fact that we’re being attacked too” I answered him with conviction on my voice. I made sure that I wouldn't crack for me to sound persuasive. I heard indistinct chattering from our chieftains discussing something but I wasn’t able to hear them as I focused myself towards this guy
“I’m Zexal... Zexal Kanzul and I’m from the Water Territory” he initiated… so he’s a Vand (used to refer people from Water Territory) and that explains his watery-sensed clothing, and his green alluring eyes “If you’re tribe didn’t know about this, then who did?” he asked with his plain yet appealing voice. How come he could speak so blunt but so attention catcher and nerve wracking.
“I’m Nazif Gilgandra, from Thunder Tribe. Nice to meet you but I don’t know, but I know it’s not us… wait, are we framed?” I asked out of nowhere as I came up with the thought. He just stared at me blankly as if thinking deeply about something...
“I don’t know either… I think so too, weird right? The Yanar chieftain were also accusing us of attacking them too, we don’t know anything about it. We were living peacefully under the ocean. And you all know we hate terrorizing” he answered as he finger-combed his gradient blonde into one direction and sighed for a moment.
He leaned forward as he put down his left foot and rested both his elbows on his knees while his hands touched his chins. He went quiet for a while as if thinking about something again.
“We were attacked twice” I started narrating “First there were these three guys mocking us when we were alone somewhere then started shooting fires, we thought they were Yanars, but they turned out to be Sahirs. Then on our graduation day, they attacked us again, good thing we were given our blessing before the commotion…” I narrated as I looked intently towards him “or else we’re doomed” I continued as I chuckled a bit
"And that was worst than the first one because there were a lot of casualties... the event was so agonizing..." I slowed down narrating as I felt sadness again
“Same as ours, we were attacked during our graduation too” he uttered without looking at me as if he’s still thinking about something while he raised his head and sat properly before me
“Then they weren’t only Sahirs, there were Yanars, Periits, and Umbras too” I added that made him get strangled in his thought again and slowly shifted his gaze towards me
“Correct me if I’m wrong, Shadows control the element of dark, death, sorrow, revenge, and deception, right?” he asked as his face lighted up with the thought he just came up with... he's right... they could have done this all.
“You’re right…” I agreed with him slowly as I thought of it too… dark, death, sorrow, revenge, and deception… since they were there too, could they be the responsible for all of this? Right… deception, they were deceiving us to make us believe into something
“So does that mean they were deluding us into something… what are they up to?” he asked as he went into deep thinking again
“Are they purposely doing the attack pretending to be the other tribe to cause war between us?” I asked him for affirmation as I came up with the idea
“Yea, and if they do, they almost succeeded. I was so angry with you a while ago” he approved as he put his hand under his chin and his eyes widen… so that explains why he looked at me a while ago as if he wanted to kill me ahahahaha “Well, I’m so sorry about that”
“That’s fine” I uttered and looked at him again “But why are they attacking suddenly… wait, does that mean they escaped the underworld!?” I asked him with full of shock towards my voice
“Oh no, that can’t be” he responded as he suddenly looked at me the moment I said that
“Unfortunately, they already did” one of the chieftains interrupted our conversation and answered our question. They must have heard us talking about the matter. We both looked at them in surprised and questioning look
“Unfortunately they already did. The seal broke that keeps them from coming out. We still don’t know what force or what kind of power drove that to happen, but yes they did. And we better prepare” the chieftain in amethyst purple said. He’s the same chieftain who initiated the meeting a while ago. He must be the head chieftain
“Where is the Sioga King anyway? He should be here; he should know anything about this occurrence” the chieftain in steel gray asked the same chieftain who answered us
“I don’t know, I have no idea why did not come to this meeting” he answered “As your assistant head, I led this meeting to not waste any time” he continued… well, I guess I’m wrong. He’s not the head after all. And speaking of, no sign of fairy… where could he be? He’s the most important person here
“What do you mean you don’t know?” a chieftain in Prussian blue asked in disbelief
“We had no communications with Siogas, but I already sent a messenger to see what he’s doing and why he’s not here” he answered to assure everyone on this meeting
“Good” a chieftain in lead black answered in his deep and frightening voice… I know that feeling, he must be a Log (used to refer people from Dragons)
“Anyway” the chieftain in amethyst purple uttered again as he looked to our chieftain intently “I always wanted to talk to you about this one, I’m always having this vision about this Trueno girl---“
“Kurezma” our chieftain interrupted him before he could finish his sentence
“You already knew?” he asked to confirm
“Yes, we’ve been visited by Gods to bless her” our chieftain briefly explained to confirm the other chieftain’s vision “She’s trained by Iduma to gain access of her full power, she’s been given gifts by the other Gods, and has been given warnings and prophecies” he added
“Kurezma…” I whispered as I heard her name
“You know her?” Zexal asked when he heard me uttering that name
“Yea, I trained alongside with her” I answered him without looking at him “If you see her, you’ll totally drop your jaw awing how she improved dramatically in a short span of time” I continued
“What do you mean?” he asked again for further information
“She used to be so weak few months ago. She can’t even use her own power, she can’t fight with or without a weapon, then guess what? Next thing we knew she’s using all of the elements, she even wounded her brother, Kuzma, with her sword in a match” I told him with amazed and disbelievingly “She fought like she was never a weakling, she can even cope up with me and my friend. We used to be the strongest students back in our tribe, and now she can cope up with us” I continued to praise Kurezma’s achievements towards Zexal
“I see, that’s amazing then… I also ranked first in our school back in our tribe” he replied as he cut his gaze and shifted it from mine to the chieftains talking
“So you’re like Kuzma then, are you next in line as your tribe’s chieftain?” I asked him
“I don’t know, but I’m our chieftain’s son, so might as well be” he answered “Are you too?” he asked me back
“No, I don’t know, Kuzma is right to be, or if not him there’s Ashtan” I answered his question too
“But with this events occurring, your friend Kurezma can be of great help” he said which I agreed with a nod
“Her powers are unlimited compared to a native Sioga or Sahir, she could be very powerful” I heard the chieftain wearing amethyst purple mentioned
“That’s what our shamans saw in their visions” our chieftain added lowly and placed his both hands under his chin
“Is she the hero that we’re all waiting for?” a chieftain in tawny brown asked as he looked at our chieftain back to the amethyst purple one
