Natalia’s POV
I have suffered a long time in my life. Although the reasons were always different, in all the circumstances, one thing that I learned was giving up is not an option. Either you win or lose, but what matters is your efforts.
Therefore, my never giving up attitude made me go through the worst phase of my life. Hence, I am not going to give up now. I am not going to allow Theo to take me back. I will fight back for my daughter.
I will go back to my family. My mind has been flooded with these thoughts since last night, and I was just looking for a chance to escape. This morning, Theo told me we were leaving for Paris and I knew it was my chance. Now, I just had to make a move.
Currently, I am sitting in the limousine of Theo, and he is sitting in front of me and staring at me like I am a piece of art. I was busy in my thoughts until I heard him, “What are you thinking?”
“How is that your business?”, I said annoyingly and started looking out of the window, ignoring him.
But it seemed he was not ready to leave the matter and I again heard him, “No, sis. But I have a friendly suggestion. Do not keep hope that you can go back to him. He will not come now.”
Listening to him talking about Magnus, I lost my temper and I sat straight and asked him confidently, “How do you know?”
He chuckled and asked me, “Means you are really thinking that he will take you back.”
“Theo”, I called him, pointing my finger towards him but he interrupted me saying, “Nats, I know what I am saying. He is not good for you.”
I asked, “Really?” and continued raising my voice, “Then who is good for me, you? Where the hell were you when I called you twenty times a day just to talk with you? Where the hell were you when I was searching for love with that random person who you think is not good for you?”
Once I was done, I waited for him to reply to explain himself, but he was silent, so I continued, “You know what, Theo, you were nowhere. Whether he was good or bad, he was there to keep me safe from the person who tried to molest me.”
“Nats-”, he started again, and I stopped him by showing my palm, “Don’t tell me that Magnus must have planned that or something since I know him. I have been living with him for a long time. He is bad, selfish, ruthless, merciless, what's not. But he will never let anything bad happen to me.”
“Natalia, I-”, He was about to apologize, but I angrily replied, “I don’t want to talk with you.”
He was silent for a few minutes and suddenly the car stopped abruptly. I looked towards Theo and found him looking at me.
He suddenly asked in a high-pitched tone to the driver, “What happened?”
“Let me check, sir.”, the driver said and he nodded.
Theo was tapping his feet, which was confirming his impatience. He murmured, “Why is he taking so long?”
I was smiling to see him, and he suddenly looked at me, and warned me, “Your wish will not be granted, we will leave from here today at any cost.”
He got out of the car and I turned to look at the window. The road was filled with cars. All were honking horns and everyone was so frustrated. Looking at their face I was sure that this traffic jam would take a long time.
That’s when I thought, “This is the moment, Nats. Just run from here.”
With that, without thinking for another second, I opened the door and got out of the car. I looked at the back of Theo and turned to leave before he came back.

Theodore’s POV
As soon as the car stopped, my mind went to only one possibility this jam was planned. Otherwise, there will never be a traffic jam in the USA like this. I was waiting for my driver to come back and tell me what the situation was, but he was taking ages to come back.
That’s when I looked at Nats all smiling, and I understood without a second what she was up to. So, I warned her, “Your wish will not be granted, we will leave from here today at any cost.”
After that, she didn’t talk to me, but I got frustrated waiting for him and decided to check on my own. I went outside and saw there was an accident. Because of that, the traffic was jammed.
After waiting for some time, I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to lock the car and the next moment I was running to see my sister.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw no one was there.
“Nats”, I murmured and realized how stupid I was to leave her alone.
“Nats?”, I yelled. Everyone started looking at me, but I just wanted to see one person, my sister. When I didn’t find her in the crowd, I murmured, “s**t, not again.”
“Search for her. She must not have gone so far.”, I yelled at the guards who were following us in a separate car.
“Nats”, I also started looking for her.
“Natalia, where are you?”, I was running in the streets of New York and she was nowhere.
I was walking towards the main road when I spotted her, “Natalia, where are you going? Stop there.”
“Nata-”, I was about to yell again but before that, she turned and yelled back, “No, I won’t.”
“Nata-”, I again called her, running towards her, but before that, a black car came and someone dragged her inside. I saw that car vanishing on the road and I didn’t need a superpower to know who it was.
“s**t. f**k Magnus.”, I yelled frustratingly and spat on the ground.

Natalia’s POV
I was running on the road saving myself from getting caught when I heard Theo calling me. I replied to him that I wouldn’t come back to him. I started running so fast that I didn’t see the car coming towards me and suddenly someone pulled me inside the car.
I was shocked by everything and when I realized what had just happened, I turned around and murmured, “Andrew?”
I was about to ask him why he did that, “How did you-” but before that he interrupted me and said, “Xenia is in hospital. She needs you.”
Hearing Xenia’s name, I forgot everything and directly asked, “What happened to her?”
