{Margo’s POV}
I got fruity pebbles, mixed with vanilla cream, they put it on this cold tray, and kept flattening it out, until they finally rolled it up. The man who made it handed me a cup, and winked at me. Marco, and Max stepped between us and started pushing me away. “Thank you..” I said over my shoulder as I was pushed to the group.
“This poor girl will never be able to date with you guys around!” Serena said laughing.
“It’s not like I ever dated before either..” I giggled more to myself. I looked over at my brothers, and they had a very unsettling look on their faces. “H-Hey, it’s okay!” I smiled.
“People like that should learn their place!” Max said, crossing his arms.
“Yeah, someone who works in a place like this would never be good enough for our sister!” Marco added, with a snicker behind it.
I crushed the cup of ice cream in one of my hands and tilted my head to the side, my eye beginning to twitch. “Though, I don’t think anyone will ever be good enough for Margo!” Max said, smiling at me. When he saw my cup he froze. “Did we say something to.. um.. make you angry?” He asked.
Marco turned his head to me, as did the rest of the group. I clenched my jaw shut tightly and spoke. “Someone who works in a place like this?” I asked..
Then I saw it, the look of panic in Max’s eyes. “I’m so sorry, we shouldn’t have..” he began, but I cut him off.
“True, you shouldn’t have.” This earned me a glance from everyone. “Not everyone has a rich daddy to hand them monthly allowances, and jobs. I for one had to work my a** off to make the little money I had before David blew most of it on beer! I spent every single day working multiple jobs, and had to hide my money away from him. I did any job I could, and honestly people that work in places like this, are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! They understand what it means to be treated like trash!” I whimpered that last part, as tears began to fill my eyes. “I know that you don’t understand this.. and dad probably hasn’t told you too much more than I have, but honestly after the years I spent in that hellhole I was excited to get away from negativity. If I can be honest, I don’t really think I’m interested in dating at all. I’m not good enough, not the other way around. I am horribly damaged in ways that others cannot begin to understand, and I don’t expect them to. What I do expect, is the people I care for treating everyone with kindness and respect!” I walked over to the trash can and threw my ice cream away. “Now if you’ll excuse me.. I need to go to the restroom to wash this da** ice cream off of me!” I turned and ran away from the group. I made my way down a long endless corridor and ran through some double doors before finding myself outside. I stopped in my tracks and looked around, turning back I could see the girls making their way towards me.
They ran out the door and Serena smiled at me, a kind, and understanding smile. I turned around to face them completely, and smiled back. I began making my way up to them, then I heard screeching behind me. I turned just in time to see a black van pull up behind me. Two masked men jumped out and grabbed me, throwing me in and then they took off. They placed a bag over my head, and tied me up with ropes. I struggled, until one of them hit me over the head with something knocking me unconscious.
{Marco’s POV}
I forgot completely for a minute about how rough she had it. I wasn’t thinking, and I just kept blabbing. The girls told us to wait for them to go get her, but I was feeling uneasy. We began walking in the direction that they ran off in. Suddenly we saw all three girls running back to us, they were frantic, and crying.
“What is it? Did one of you break a heel?” Max laughed.
“It’s Margo!” We all froze as Serena spoke. “Some guys just pulled up in a black van and snatched her! Brianna called the police, but they’re gone! They took Margo!” She shrieked.
All of us took off outside, as panic began to set in and my adrenaline was pumping like crazy. I pulled out my phone as all of us guys made it to one of the cars. “You girls go wait at our house!” I ordered, dialing Angelo’s number. When he picked up, I didn’t even give him a chance to speak. “Margo’s been kidnapped! It all happened so fast, we don’t know which way they went! I need you to get into the traffic cams and look for a black van leaving the mall in a hurry!”
I heard him typing immediately and before long he sent me some images of the van. He was able to get the license plate, and set up a tracker to show us which way it was going from the traffic cams. I hung up, and we all drove off following the van. Once I caught them, I’d kill them all! How did we let this happen? We knew that she was in danger, but I didn’t think that one bathroom trip could go this wrong. I turned to Max who was watching the gps and pointing out where to go. Damon and Carter were quietly watching out the windows. “Don’t worry sis.. we’re coming!” I muttered under my breath.
