Chapter 40: The Twist
Luca's hands trembled. He was shaking, his face filled with sweat. He was nervous and scared. He kept searching his phone, scrolling and scrolling but he couldn't find the recording. The court had divided into two. The were chattering and murmuring. He could hear the whispers. Nothing was happening in his favor. Is this how he will end up? Just before he could begin his mission.
Ken noticed his client's discomfort. He walked towards his box.
"Lucas, what is the matter?" He asked softly.
"I can't find the recording, I think it has been deleted," Lucas panicked.
"Don't you have a backup or something?" He asked. From the Lucas gave him, he knew that he didn't have any backup.
"Just relax I will handle the situation," Ken added before returning to his seat.
