Chapter 25: Lucas' Release
It was Monday, the weekend had quickly passed by with Lucas in jail. The chairman had lost his fate in his team and managed to use his influence to get a bail grant for Lucas.
The chairman refused going to the office but headed straight to the police station. His heart was pounding in anticipation when he arrived. Throughout the weekend, he couldn't sleep properly. He was consumed with the thought on how he could manage to get Lucas from those shackles of pains.
As he approached to the counter, he saw the chief of police addressing the constable. The man was surprised to see an elite like the Medichi in the station.
"Good day Sir, what would bring you here?" The chairman greeted and the other policemen's bowed to the chairman.
"I'm here for Lucas Preston,"
