“So you want to fill me in on what’s going on with you and Lance?”
Wade looked at Casey, driving the truck into town. “What are you talking about?”
Casey laughed and rolled his eyes. “Seriously? You’re going to play it that way? Middle of the night you guys are snuggled up together. Then you’re hugging last night in the field. And at breakfast, you can’t keep your eyes off him.”
Wade shifted uncomfortably and pressed his lips together. What the hell could he say?
Casey chuckled. “Fine. I get it. It’s private. But he’s my best friend, so you’d better treat him right,” he warned, a teasing lilt in his voice. “Of course, I’ll tell him the same thing. I don’t want him playing around with my brother’s heart.”
