Third Person P.O.V.

It's my work to watch them and keep them safe and sound. I am doing this for the last 2 years and succeeded. I was on their trail when I saw them leaving their place. As soon as we reached the abandoned warehouse, I got to the work. I scanned the setting and sensed something off. If this deal is so important, why is so clumsiness showing around? There were loopholes everywhere. As I am too close to the men on the ground, I can see their expressions. Something is fishy here. I noticed that they were not guarding the whole area, but a particular area with some large containers. Even the persons hiding themselves at the building and on the left and right sides of the area were only securing the same perimeter. Suspiciously, I scanned those containers and got shocked to see the panel there. I immediately searched the area and found out the mines. It's a trap. trap for them. It showed only 20 minutes. I have only 15 minutes then. I immediately started working on an escape plan for them.

First of all, I made the route for Arthur and Kyle and then entered the building. I have already finished almost 10 men. How much more to go, I don't know as I didn't get the time to look over them. But, first I need to send the signal to Kyle. I know, it can be a trouble for me, and of course, he can. He is a genius. I get out of my hiding place on the 7th floor so that he can trace my heat signals. I really love this guy. He is too quick to pick up the signal and then all my work of saving them is started getting done. Once I reached the top I saw an assassin aiming down the building. I got a clean and easy shot and oops, He fell down. But, I know Ryder will take care of him now. All of sudden, I am at the aim of others. I smirked and then took only 5 seconds to finished them. I quickly ran away towards my escape and waited for Ryder. As soon as, he reached the top, he got the signal from Kyle. He was scanning the area for escape when he saw me. That's what I needed. I signaled him and then escaped. He followed me.

As I saw him on the wire, I ran from the spot. Now I needed to distract them to get their vehicle. I again sent a message to Kyle and send them to my Tow Van which was parked around half a kilometer from that place. It was enough time to cover my routes. I knew they all are safe. The last message from me sent the location of the key of Tow Van.

Ryder's P.O.V.

It has already been f**king 3 hrs sitting outside the OT. No one has come. I became impatient now. I was in my deep thoughts when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I saw towards the hand. It was Arthur.

"We found the footage of incident happened there from a CCTV placed at the corner of the street. You must see", Arthur informed.

I looked at Kyle who was working on the number from which he was getting messages. It's the first time he has taken so much time to get a piece of simple information.

Arthur showed the footage on his phone. Keira came outside restaurant around 10:45 p.m. She was looking a little bit dizzy. She slowly started walking towards the street. As she reached the corner of the street, suddenly 2 figures came out of nowhere from the dark and started attacking her. They have some kind of sharp weapon. She was trying to defend herself but miserably failed as someone butted on her head with full force and soon blood started dripping from her head. They were kicking and attacking her when she fell to the ground. Suddenly, someone came out of the restaurant and saw what was happening there and started screaming. The assassins fled from there taking her bag with her. Her colleagues came out of the restaurant and ran towards her.

I was stunned. My mind was totally blank. I am not able to think anything. Arthur touched my shoulder again.

"Police has filed a case and started working on this. But, it looked like someone was keeping an eye on her for few days. I have searched few more clippings from previous days and saw a hooded man standing in front of the restaurant from the beginning of her shift till her shift end." Arthur told.

I was going to say something when suddenly OT door opened and a doctor came outside. We immediately approached him.

"What happened doctor, Is she alright", I asked.

"Well, Mr. Blake, we have saved her this time, but I am afraid, she will not survive any other physical abuse again." The doctor told us.

My eyes go widened on this revelation.

"What do you mean by this doc", I yelled.

"Mr. Blake, please calm down, I will tell you everything but first we need to shift her to the room. Which room do you want to shift", He asked.

"Of course VIP room", I bluntly said.

"First, let her shift to the room and get her settled there. Then we will discuss her condition thoroughly. Right now, she is weak due to heavy blood loss. She has few broken ribs and fractures in her arm. It will take quite time to heal. But above all, you have to heal her wounds on her soul," Doctor said again.

I inhaled sharply and nodded in agreement. I looked towards Arthur and Chris and they gave me a curt nod and left the hospital. Kyle and Robin were also gone to have something to eat for us. When the nurses took out the Keira on the stretcher, the sight broke my heart in several pieces. She was deadly pale and her whole body was covered in bandages and so many wires were attached with her body. I immediately reached for her hand and secure her almost lifeless small-hands within my palms. Tony squeezed my shoulder and gave me a sympathetic look. With stretcher, we headed towards her room.
