CONFUSIONAL CHAOS

Kyle's P.O.V.

I jammed all the signals and weapons used with hi techs in few seconds and smirked. I was good and I know I am good. I had to enter the building in front of us once Ryder would give me a clear signal. I was looking at the laptop screen when I saw some disturbance inside the building on the 7th Floor. None of us had entered the building yet then who is it. The heat signals were showing that the person is going towards the roof.

I saw the position of Ryder on the screen. He was still on the ground behind the building. Then, who was there who was killing all those guards mercilessly? Suddenly I saw some movements on the roof and saw that one of the people hiding behind the water tank has aimed at Ryder. Oh, F**k.. I tried to warn Ryder but was too late. He was on a clear shot. But, within a blink of an eye, the scene changed and the shooter started to fell off from the roof which was safely taken care of by Ryder.

I saw a mysterious feature had taken a clear shot from behind and the bullet cleanly went off through the head without any sound. It meant that that feature was using soundproof weapons. To my surprise, other guards were also on the ground lying dead. When did he kill them all? But then, I saw he was signaling somewhere else. I followed his hand's movement and saw a huge black box hidden between two large containers. I immediately scanned the box and covered in sweat soon to realize what was that.

It has a huge panel that is triggered. It means the whole area has mined and it's going to be burst in less than 5 minutes. I shouted through the link to clean the area as soon as possible. I looked for that mysterious help but didn't find it. I ran for my life towards our vehicle. As soon as I was at safe distance, I got a message on my mobile with continuous beeping. It was a matter of my life and death and someone is bothering me annoyingly. I looked at my phone and my eyes go wide. I again shouted through the link "don't go near to van. It's a bomb there". I didn't know why but really trusted that mysterious help. "What are you talking about?" Ryder shouted through the link. "A bomb is planted in our van, clear the area as soon as possible" I yelled. Again I received another message. "Go south and run around 400 meters more" it stated. I rolled my eyes. I would really win the gold in the marathon in the Olympics if I escape today. I delivered the message to everyone and headed towards the south.

I was just thinking one thing right now. Who was helping us and who was that mysterious figure?

Ryder's P.O.V.

What the hell is going on. How did anyone know about us attacking tonight? It meant that my team was in danger. If they got our whereabouts, we are finished. First trap at the warehouse, then bomb in our van. How it could be possible? Why can't Kyle get all these alerts before? Now he asked us to head south. I desperately wanted to know what was this all about.

As soon as I reach there, I saw Chris scanning a Towing Van standing there at the side of the road abandoned. Kyle's phone rang. He immediately picked up the phone and went towards the van and flipped off a carpet lying under one of the back wheels. It was completely hidden and no one understood how did Kyle get to know. Under the carpet, there was the key to the van.

I suspiciously saw Kyle. He gathered us and told everything how he got the info about mines and bomb inside our vehicle. Suddenly the whole area of the warehouse blasted and covered the whole area in a fierce fire. All of us were shocked. It was really a mere escape from death.

I was totally disappointed. Nothing was going straight. Something was really fishy here. We almost kissed death. How did this happen??? The ride was completely silent. Suddenly, Arthur said, "We should head towards the restaurant where Keira works". I saw suspiciously at him. It almost 11 at night. He saw towards me. "She is in trouble", he told me and showed me his phone screen. Robin who was driving the van looked towards me. I nodded in agreement and we were now heading towards Keira. It was really going to be the worst 24 hours of my life. I assumed that Arthur has planted a device to keep eye on her. But, why was he so protective towards her? I guess it was not the time to ask.

As soon as we reach there, we saw a small crowd a little far from the restaurant. One of her colleagues was shouting for help. I nearly jumped from the moving van and ran towards the voice direction. She was lying on the lap of her colleague unconscious and blood is all over her clothes. I got panicked and immediately took her in my arms and ran towards the van. I looked at Arthur and he understood what he needed to do. He and Chris walked towards his colleague who was still in restaurant uniform and paled due to fear. As soon as I get inside the van securing Keira on my lap, Robin started the engine and we headed towards the nearest hospital.

 In the hospital, the doctor immediately took her to the emergency room straight towards the operation theatre. She had a big and deep cut on her head, a deep wound at the upper right shoulder, several bruises on the face, on hands, on legs which were visible from her shattered jean. My heart was pouncing in my chest to see her this much wounded. What the hell has happened there? We were sitting outside the OT and waiting for someone to come out. It seemed to be a long night.
