"Good if you want to go home." Alfred teased, he flew backstroke, smiling as sweetly as possible at Milena so that the fey's emotions could subside again.
"Are you stupid? Of course! If I don't go back to the village, they'll think I'm the culprit!" she said annoyed, threwing a fierce look at Alfred, still can't believe her friend doubted her.
"You really weren't the culprit?" cried Alfred subconsciously.
"I'm not stupid, Al! yeah, although I did talk to a squirrel once in the woods." Milena grumbled, annoyed.
"Oh! I'm so happy!" Alfred hugged her until she could barely breathe.
"What are you doing?" Milena struggled in a shrill tone.
Alfred laughed with satisfaction, Milena who saw her little friend's face shining secretly, her heart melted and smiled to herself.

That night, the fairy village was not what it used to be. Tiny lights filled almost every street corner. Some of the fairies toasted, laughed contentedly, and occasionally made oddly funny expressions. Apparently they managed to rescue most of the floating supplies. When Milena stepped into the village, a look of disdain struck her like a fiery arrow. She replied with an angry expression, more fierce than them.
"Don't mind them. Your innocence is enough for me." Persuade Alfred.
"Still they're annoying. Why do they always pay so much attention to me?"
Milena walked slowly, she wanted to kick something, but the road was almost empty, only the ground was starting to dry up.
"Well. Maybe you can stop putting on that hideous face of yours." Alfred stroked Milena's long dark blonde hair.
"Stop it!" she protested fiercely.
"Well, that's one of them" Alfred chuckled.
The more the two of them walked into the village, the more they looked at her with disapproval, then there were looks of hate, disgust, anger, and other bad looks. Milena thought that this was something out of the ordinary. The stigma attached to her about troublemakers had been around for a long time, receiving hate treatment was also common, but it seemed this time it was beyond her expectations.
"Repel her from this village!" a stocky female fey shouted, index finger pointing at Milena. Unexpectedly the screams triggered a commotion of the villagers, they shouted, cursed, and cursed endlessly along the way.
Milena and Alfred were shocked. Only this time the villagers were that angry. Suddenly a bowl of apple pie goes to Milena.
Boom!
Not only that, several other fairies also threw anything near them. Alfred panicked, he protected Milena with his body.
"Come on, hurry! The tavern isn't far!"
"Why are they doing this? I didn't do anything wrong!" she protested angrily.
"It's useless to explain to the angry mob, Milena, they won't listen to anything other than vent their anger."
The two of them rushed to the bushes, trying to avoid the angry crowd.
"This is the Rose Team's secret passage. If you go this way, you'll get to the tavern much quicker on foot. Who said flying was fun? You've never felt how tired we are from flying all day here and there gathering supplies. I feel like my wings are about to fall off! " Alfred chuckled, leading the way through the tall, sharp grass.
"Well, maybe I don't know how it feels. Sorry. I'm not a working fey like you guys, looks like I'll be a real solitary fey in a matter of hours." Milena cleaned herself from the remnants of the pies and pickles on her body, her wings became sticky and hard to flap.
"Don't say sh*t like that." Alfred looked fiercely at Milena.
"Ok! Ok! Why are you angry, anyway?" Milena was surprised.
"You're being treated unfairly, of course I'm angry." He said earnestly, this time he didn't turn around, he continued to walk leading Milena to the tavern.
Milena just rolled her eyes and sighed softly. Alfred opened the tall grass and behind it could be seen the back of the tavern. The tavern was very bright with two lanterns hanging on either side. Milena stole a glance at the shop from a distance, it was a famous place in her village. She had never entered the place in her life. It was because most of the fairies she had bullied (including those who hated her) would talk about her in the tavern. Not entering the tavern didn't mean she couldn't overhear their conversation. Hearing their diverse conversations about her made her ears heat up. It is also the reason for the birth of new chaos by her.
"Are we going to the tavern?" Milena pointed reluctantly.
"Yah! What do you think the tavern is? Food?" Alfred chuckled, a small piece of pie falling from his head.
"I don't think they would like my presence there." Milena crossed her arms across her chest, face sullen. "I definitely got a pan toss instead of apple pie."
"Come on! Don't think negative just yet. I'll explain it to them." He pulled Milena's hand before she could refute her words again.
Alfred looked happy, he gripped Milena's hand as if he didn't want to let her go. He tripped a few times because Alfred was yanking her too hard against his side.
"Are you sure they won't throw a pan at me?" Milena shouted angrily.
"Come on!" Alfred opened the door and all the visitors suddenly fell silent. They watched the newcomers.
"Eh? Alfred?" Milena whispered softly, she pulled the hem of her friend's shirt.
"Smile! Just smile!" he replied slowly, smiled very broadly.
Milena doubted the tactic, she looked around her, they were still silent while staring intently at her. The corners of her lips formed a smile, instead of a smile, Milena looked like she was grinning. The brows of the shopkeepers knit together at the strange expression.
"Ah... hi!" said Milena cheerfully, her right hand waving quickly.
Prang!
A cup floated towards her. Luckily Milena quickly dodged.
"Yeah! Cup!" said Milena in a sarcastic tone from under the table. Several cups and saucers were still flying towards her in a rush.
"Stop it! Stop it all!" Alfred swiftly grabbed a few crockery and secured them on the table one by one. The rest flew, hit the wall and broke.
"Why are you defending the evil fey?" Lucinda shouted disappointed, her eyes seemed to glaze over. "You know what? I'm tired all day! It's getting colder and we have to work extra hard with hungry bellies! You think that's fun?" furious in angry tone.
"That's right! There was even a fairy who almost drowned because of Milena!" The fey who was in the corner of the room shouted in a hoarse and choked tone. "Cruel! Barbaric!"
"You might be her accomplice!" shouted a fairy from the corner of the room.
"Could you guys just shut up and stop throwing stuff from this tavern?" Alfred squeaked loudly.
"I don't mind! As long as the target is the evil fey!" a fairy shouted from the kitchen.
"Bad idea bringing me here, isn't it?" Milena snorted sarcastically, looking at Alfred who was panicking.
Alfred clicked his tongue, and walked to the center of the room. He put on a look as much as possible until the guts of one by one the visitors in the shop shrunk.
"You can't judge someone one-sidedly like this! Milena hasn't responded to what happened this afternoon! Even though she's known for being a troublemaker and being angry all the time, it doesn't mean that everything bad that happens in this village is her fault! Can't you all think about it rationally? What's the point of you as adults among us if you can't judge and weigh things carefully?"
They suddenly fell silent. No one dared to argue or throw another stuff at Milena.
