"Can you guys stop throwing things at us? Now?" Alfred asked anxiously.
"We threw at her, not at you, Al!" another fey shouted from the opposite corner of the room.
"Yes! Enough! Enough! I said enough!" said Alfred, his hands on the defensive; palms facing forward, head tilted to the right. His breath went up and down.
"Maybe I should get out now, Al." Milena whispered from afar.
"And you!" he turned towards Milena with a super fierce face, his index finger pointed at her.
"Stop running away from reality! Stop being obnoxious and stubborn! This time at least you can defend your innocent!"
Alfred pulled her from hiding under the table. And again! With a tight grip.
"Alfred! You hurt me!" she groaned in pain.
"Hold on a second! Now explain to them that it wasn't you!" the order is fierce.
Grace who saw Frida's glaring gaze, took her hand and held it tightly. Frida gasped in surprise. Grace just smiled a little and whispered, "Be patient."
"Thank you." She whispered in a touched mood.
"If you didn't do it, then who?" Gustraf stepped forward, a large soup spoon in his hand. Milena flinched at that.
"Explain to them!" Alfred tugged on Milena's hand more firmly than before, afraid that the Grumpy Fairy would run away without an explanation.
"Okay! But can you let go of my hand?" demanded Milena sarcasticly. Alfred just shook his head firmly. "Okay! I'll tell you!" she rolled her eyes.
"And we will listen!" said Gustraf earnestly. "I promise no one's going to throw anything at you again this time. He looked fiercely around the room. On average they respect Gustraf, so they just nodded in agreement.
"Well… Alright. May I sit down?" Asked Milena warily.
"Please!" Gustraf nodded in agreement.
Milena grabbed the nearest chair and sat some distance away from them. Alfred sat beside her.
"So..." Milena started, "actually I was angry, someone deliberately threw a strawberry on my head while I was sleeping this afternoon..." Milena pursed her lips, the whole room giggled at that, "because I can't find the culprit, I suspect one of them a working fe who was playing a prank on me. I'm like a crazy fairy talking to a squirrel!" her voice rose an octave, the shop's owner became even more amused at the confession.
"Yeah... And I intend to take revenge by stealing three-quarters of the winter supply." Milena smirked, this time no one giggled or laughed at her. Their faces all turned boiling red.
"Say something again, Milena!" Alfred insisted, panicking.
"Okay! I haven't finished my story yet!" Milena frowned. "While I was stealing grapes one by one from the stockpile, I heard someone digging something. I thought it might just be a mining fey trying to expand the room to accommodate more fruit and seeds, so I just kept going."
"How many fruits did you steal, thief!" asked a male fey in a deep voice.
"Yeah! I'm a thief! I was about to return the fruit, but you guys accused me of being the culprit." she looked away.
"Why didn't you mention the fruit?" Alfred shouted, realizing his voice was rising, he approached Milena angrily, gripped her shoulders and whispered softly, "Don't provoke their anger, just say what's important and necessary. Got it?" his eyes bulged.
"Ok! Ok! Don't stare like that! It's terrible!" Milena rebuffed Alfred's hands.
"I stole more than I planned. The rest is still in my secret vault. When I tried to retrieve the strawberries, I didn't hear the mine fey working anymore, instead of thar, i heard a loud rumbling and cracking sound that slowly grew louder and bigger. When I investigated, I was swept away by the river water that entered the supply tree by the downstream. The rest I don't know. I had fainted on the river bank, then when I woke up, I saw you guys who were frantic with the disaste, and I laughed, feel so funny." Milena laughed loudly. Some of those who heard it were furious at Milena, the laughter sounded contemptuous. Most of those who get angry are from the fruit-picking fairies.
"So, you're saying you're accusing the fairies from the mining division of being the cause of this tragedy?" said Gustraf angrily, you know, his cousin works as a mining fairy.
"Why do you still call it a tragedy? A catastrophe? Didn't you manage to collect almost all of the fruit and grain that was washed away? I think some of it sank to the bottom of the river. Too bad." Milena said with a fast rhythm, she stroked her chin and frowned.
"Stop your insolent behavior. You're lying! How can any criminals confess!" Lucinda accused, her whole body shaking saying that with all her might.
"How can you accuse the mining division of this." Gustraf looks tensed.
"I'm not accusing! I'm just telling the truth what happened!" Milena shouted, annoyed.
"Are you serious? Try to remember what really happened? Don't draw anyone else into this, Milena, please!" Alfred looked languid to hear Milena's confession.
"What? You're telling me to tell the truth, Al! And you don't believe it? A troublemaker telling the truth! For the sake of Lily! Who would believe that?" Milena snorted in disappointment. "I guess it's pointless to explain to the angry mob, Alfred, they won't listen to anything but vent their anger. Right?"
Milena ridiculed Alfred's earlier words and put special emphasis on the name of her childhood friend.
Alfred gaped at that. Milena rolled her eyes and turned to leave the place. They were all silent, some of whom just stared at the empty floor, Gustraf gulped and didn't know what to say.
"What about the royal? Have they decided something about this incident?" Alfred sat languidly on the chair, his legs and wings too weak to catch up with Milena after hearing those words.
"The kingdom hasn't decided anything yet, but the villagers have concluded that the culprit is Milena. They forced the kingdom to exile Milena from our village. Looks like the title of legendary descendant is no longer working this time." Grace explained without the slightest emotion in her tone, she looked relaxed with her arms crossed over her chest, indifferent.
"Nightmare..." Alfred muttered, his face pale.[]
