“Nessa?”
I blink staring at the other side of the hallway that was dark and menacing. I stare in amazement looking all around me. “You didn’t just see that?” I ask breathlessly.
“Uh, see what?”” Nicholas quickly looked down the hallway, quite alarmed now.
I realize that I was the only who saw the vision. “Nothing, I’m going that way. You can either follow me or stay here, but either way I’m going.”
I watch him swallow hard while his mind raced indecisively. He shook himself a little as if trying to get rid of all the anxiety and nerves that was shooting through him.
