THE DRIVE TO his FAMILY home wasn’t long, but I do wish it was that long. As much as I try to keep telling myself that I am ready to face whatever it is I need to face in that house, I need time to gather my strength and courage to face his family that I once fooled with as well. However, I could only gather that for a short time.
My eyes lit up as Don turned the car around into a massive house that is located inside a village with only a few houses located inside. The tall and massive gates are bigger than ours as a sight of several guards roaming around the area greeted me when he drove inside further. This shouldn’t be fascinating for me as someone who lives in a massive home as well, but the thought of having Don and his family live in this kind of place now does.
