MY FEET FELT FROZEN INTO my spot as I look at the woman who was once the sweetest to me and the person I probably felt guilty on facing the most out of his whole family. As she stood there, looking at me adoringly, all of the memories I have formed with her, her caring and her sweetness as if she is like my second mother already, I can only think of it with a guilt in my heart. I also betrayed her. No matter how much Don told me that his mother is the kindest of them all, it won’t change the fact that I fooled her as well back then.
