As a result of the exposure of his relationship with Kyle, Clement instructed the local corporate office to move the date of his visit to the department store forward. Gordon thought it was a great idea. There were a few reasons for the abrupt change. One of them was the result of Gordon’s investigation.
Apparently, some of the local paparazzi had dug deeper into Clement’s background and discovered his full ownership of all Beaumont Department Stores worldwide. Those same paparazzi had somehow found out about his upcoming visit to the local branch.
