Looking for Alexa

Chapter 27

Alexa's P.O.V 

  I woke up and saw that Nick was still asleep, so I quickly hurried to take a shower and get dressed. I wrote Nick a note, letting him know to meet me there and placed the note on the pillow, leaving to go and see Rachel. I walked out the front door and saw Blue heading out of Rachel's house, maybe they worked things out, I thought to myself. Rachel was heading out to the training grounds and I quickly ran to catch up to her, so we could walk together. I didn't ask any questions, feeling that it was for the best. It only took a few minutes, when Rachel stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face me. 

  "We'll talk later ok, today we need to train, you're Luna of the pack and i want you to be ready for anything and everything. First we are going to work on your powers, I want you to put all your anger into that log." Rachel said and pointed to a log on the other side of the lake. 

  "Yes, I know you will probably wake everyone up, but they will know what's going on. I want you to concentrate hard and I want you to use your mind only, don't use your words, okay?" Rachel said, I nodded and looked over at the big fat brown log by the lake. I closed my eyes, trying to imagine the log blowing up and catching on fire. I didn't think it would happen so fast, so when the log exploded it made me jump. I opened my eyes and watched as the log burnt to a crisp, but felt immediately guilty when I looked around and saw the pack members looking out of the windows, shaking their heads. Rachel started laughing and Nick came running out of the pack house, running over to us.

  "What the hell? I was asleep." Nick said, his eyes wide as he looked from Rachel to me, then to the log and back to me. I couldn't help it, I looked at him and started laughing.

  "Sorry love, but she wanted to see if I could do it with my mind and well as you can see I could." I said, apologising, but he shook his head.

  "I'll be in the office when you're done training." Nick said, storming off back to the pack house. he linked to her, 

  "You're so going to get it, for scaring the s**t out of me." Nick mind-linked me, playfully looking back at me and I burst out laughing.

  "Come on, what's next?" I asked, excited to try something else.

  "You need to learn how to fight, so we are going to start with your legs and get them stronger. I'm going to show you a few kicks and then I want you to do them back to me." Rachel said, I nodded and stood back watching Rachel do some kicks. I watched closely, following her every move and then she stopped and gestured for me to do the same. Rachel took a defensive stance and braced herself for my kicks, I repeated all her movements, but I added a round kick and flipped back at the end. 

  "Where did you learn that?" Rachel asked, looking at me in amazement.

  "I don't know, I guess I just added it. I thought of what would happen if they ran at me, so I did a round kick and then flipped back." I said, shrugging.

  "Well you did great, do your legs hurt when you do them?" Rachel asked me and I shook my head no.

  "I just feel the air and I go with it." I said, it was hard to explain, but i think she understood me.

  "Come on, let's do ten laps around the territory. It would be nice to give it a go, plus it will build muscles in your legs." Rachel said, nodding.

  "Alright, let's go." I said and we began to run. Soon we had run ten laps, but we wanted to run a few more laps, so we did and pretty soon we were trying to outrun each other, laughing as we tried to trip each other. We were laughing so hard, that it caused us to get the stitch and had to stop. 

  "Alright my friend, I'll see you tomorrow, maybe we can do some shopping in a few days. We can invite the guys, so we won't be alone." Rachel suggested. 

  "Alright, tell Blue I said hi." I replied, waving goodbye and heading back to the pack house.

  Rachel's P.O.V 

  I watched Alexa run off back to the pack house, while I went back to mine. It was getting late and Blue would be coming back from work soon. I got to my house and smiled when I saw Blue walking up the path.

  "Care to come inside and rest?" I asked him, smiling. He nodded and we both went inside, shutting the door behind us.

  Alexa's P.O.V 

  I hurried into the house and went straight to Nick's office, letting him know I was taking a quick shower. I hurried upstairs, took off my sweaty clothes and hopped in the shower, washing my hair and body, getting rid of all the dirt and sweat. I got out and dried off, placing the towel around my body and stepped out of the bathroom. Nick was there, standing against the dresser, as I dropped the towel on the floor, his eyes went up and down my body and he saw every curve on my body.
