Looking for Alexa

Chapter 19

Alexa's P.O.V

  I knew I wasn't ready to mate yet, as I still needed to get my head right, but I really enjoyed spending time with my mate and it made me happy. Nick and I discussed it most of the night and he was more than willing to wait for me, which settled my nerves and mind. The next day I went out to the training grounds to meet Rachel. I must have really worried her yesterday, what with how I ran out of there. I spotted Rachel and sure enough I was right, as she ran right up to me and hugged me.

  Rachel's P.O.V 

  I saw Alexa walking up to the training grounds and I couldn't help myself, as I ran up to her, hugging her and making sure she was ok. After she regained her memories yesterday she just took off,  shifting before I could even stop her. She scared me to death, I was so worried about her incase she hurt herself or someone else. I was so relieved when Alpha Nick mind-linked me and let me know that she was okay, but I must admit that I did feel guilty especially after Alpha Nick told me to warn them first before I do anything like that again and I agreed of course.

  "Are you okay? I was really worried about you, you ran out so fast yesterday that I couldn't even stop you. Do you have a clearer head today?" I asked Alexa, taking a deep breath and pulling out of the hug.

  "Yeah I'm ok. Nick and I talked last night and I also talked to my parents, they all agreed to no more secrets and no more hiding anything from me again, that's including you as well." Alexa said, making me chuckle and nod.

  "Alright then, I won't keep any secrets or hide anything from you and that's a promise. So let's get down to business, i want to know what you know about fighting, so show me what you got. We're going to start fighting, but don't be scared to hit me, because you're going to get hit. I want you to completely give me your anger, release everything that you have been keeping bottled up." I said, but Alexa looked nervous.

  "Alright if that's what you want. Let's do this." Alexa said, nodding. I acted like I was going to turn and walk away, but instead I swung at Alexa and punched her in the cheek. 

  Alexa's P.O.V 

  I grabbed my face after Rachel's surprise punch and it hurt. I better start fighting back or she's going to kick my ass. Rachel swung again, but this time I moved out of the way and tripped her, making her fall flat on her ass. Rachel didn't waste any time in getting up, doing a round kick and then punching me in the stomach. I stumbled back, holding my stomach and I could feel myself getting pissed off, which is what Rachel said she wanted. I caught my breath after a few seconds and did a flip, kicking my legs towards Rachel and hitting her square in the chin and head. We were going at it for a while, neither of us backing down and both of us giving it our all, punching, kicking and flipping.

  Nick's P.O.V 

  "Alpha, quick you have got to see this. Alexa and Rachel are training and it's amazing." A pack member mind-linked me, I walked out of my office and headed straight for the training grounds, where a crowd had already gathered. Everyone was standing there in a circle, watching in awe as Alexa and Rachel sparred, it was an amazing sight. They both really went for it and once they finally stopped, everyone cheered, clapped and hollered. I walked up to Alexa and hugged her tightly, she was dripping with sweat and slightly out of breath, as she took a swig of water.

  "You did an awesome job. Rachel, you trained her well." I said, but Rachel looked at me confused.

  "I didn't train her Alpha, she learns as she watches. She watches what I do and then she does the same to me. I don't know how she does it, but she does and she's a fast learner. She will be a great Luna warrior, people will fear the sight of her and cower before her. She has yet to figure her powers out, but I'll work on that soon, we just need to be prepared for it, maybe have her mother here to help show her tomorrow." Rachel said, Alexa shook her head, agreeing.

  "I'll link mom and dad tonight and ask if they can be here tomorrow, maybe if mom shows me I can learn to do it, but let's start that tomorrow, I'm hungry." Alexa said, holding her stomach.

  "I'm sure dinner should be done, it's late." I chuckled. 

  Alexa's P.O.V 

  For the first time since Rachel and I started training, I looked around and I was stunned, It was getting dark now. I wonder how long we were out here? Nick and I walked hand in hand back to the pack house, while everyone followed behind us and Nick was right, dinner was already done and set out. We all sat down at the table and the lovely smell of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans hit my nose. We all ate and talked for a while and when we were finished I turned to Nick.

  "I'm going to take a shower." I said, feeling gross and sweaty after training, Nick nodded. I headed upstairs and straight to the shower, stripping off my dirty clothes and getting in. The warm water hit my body, relaxing me as I washed my hair and body, getting rid of all the dirt and sweat. Once I was finally clean, I turned the water off, dried myself off and wrapped the towel around me, walking back into the bedroom. I didn't know that Nick was in there, sitting on the couch and watching tv, I only had a towel around me, I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of him. I wonder what he will do when he sees me dressed like this? Nick looked over to me and his eyes turned black as coal and he tried to shake it off, not taking his eyes off of me.
