[Stella’s POV]
I felt a bit restless as I walked home, but it wasn’t because it was a very far walk. It was more like my brain was on constant danger alert, and I couldn’t seem to shake the feeling off me.
Maybe I should have taken them up on the offer? I thought to myself, as I suddenly jumped, when someone spoke to me.
“I guess Nathan was right after all!” Someone, who I remembered was named Riley, stated, as I paused and frowned at him.
“What are you talking about?” I asked him.
“Well, I saw how those demons were looking at you, just before, when you left that house they are staying at,” He began to explain, as he moved his head in the direction of where I came from.
“Perhaps Armaros should have been the one to apologize and not Nathan..” he stated as I realized what he was talking about.
“If you really had to whoré around, you could at least try to have some more dignity than that,” he continued, as I was shocked by his statement.
“Did you really just call me a whoré?” I asked in disbelief, as he just grinned, and leaned a little forward.
“What would you call someone that is screwing around like that? The moral standards really dropped, thinking about you being the Alpha’s daughter and all.” He spoke, just as Nathan suddenly showed up, and apparently heard what was said.
I then proceeded to slap Riley across the face, which seemed to take him by surprise.
“Fück you, and you too, Nathan! I can’t believe you would say something like that!” I yelled, as Nathan looked at me in shock, but he seemed to snap out of it, when I turned away to leave because he suddenly called out to me.
“Stella wait!” He called as he grabbed a hold of my arm, but I immediately pulled away.
[..]
“Don’t you dare touch me!” She growled, as her eyes turned light blue, making Nathan take a step back.
“Just stay the hell away from me, both of you!” She snapped, before she walked away.
Nathan then turned to Riley, angrily, who had placed a hand on his red cheek.
“I can’t believe she actually slapped me,” he chuckled, but Nathan wasn't concerned about that.
“Why would you tell her that, when you know I didn’t mean it? I only said it because I knew it would make Armaros mad!” Nathan hissed.
“Ugh, come on, Nathan, don’t you see how they all hang around her like a bunch of lost puppies? You too, for that matter. Don’t be a fool and fall for that cràp.” He spoke.
“It’s not cràp, I know she is not like that, she would never just fool around.”
“If you say so!” He stated carelessly, as he turned to leave, but Nathan walked in front of him.
“I’m serious, Riley, leave her out of it!” Nathan hissed, as Riley narrowed his eyes, and stepped closer to Nathan.
“Are you threatening me? You are not my boss, kid, so butt out of my business,” He snapped, as he pushed Nathan in the chest before he walked away.

Ezra walked to Damon’s office as he knocked twice on the door, before he was called in.
“You called for me?” Ezra asked, as Damon looked up at him.
“Yes, I have a new job for you, Ezra.” Damon stated, as Ezra nodded.
“Okay? What do you need me to do?” He asked as he patiently waited for Damon’s instructions.
“I need you to deliver this package for me, you see, I’ve got myself a new business partner, and I have agreed to help them, if they help me,” he explained, as he handed him a small box.
“Can I?” He asked, as Damon nodded, as Ezra proceeded to open the box, and saw one of the Devine stones was placed in it.
“But this is a devine stone. Who will need this..?” He started, but then he figured out what he was referring to.
“You have someone inside the tribe, don’t you?” Ezra asked, as Damon just grinned.
“But how?” He asked, but Damon shook his head.
“Stop asking all those damn questions, kid, and just get this delivered!” He growled, as Ezra took the stone.
“Yes Sir! I didn’t mean any disrespect.” He excused, as he bowed in courtesy.
“Just go, Dev shall give you all the necessary information.” He stated, as Ezra nodded and walked out.

“Hey babygirl!” Armaros greeted, as he walked into Stella’s room. She was sitting in the window frame, but when she looked towards him, he immediately saw the weird look on her face, and knew something was off.
“What’s wrong, are you okay?” He asked, as she took a deep breath as she raised herself from her seat by the window.
“Your fight five days ago.. It was about me, wasn’t it?” Stella spoke, as he looked at her confused.
“Who told you that?” Armaros asked, as he walked up to her.
“Just this i***t, who approached me when I left your house earlier. He told me what Nathan had said to you, and he accused me of being a.. For being indecent with you and the others.” She replied, as she turned her eyes back to the window for a moment, as she crossed her arms, making Armaros fist his hands, but he tried to stay calm, so she was able to talk.
“What did you do?” Armaros asked, as he walked all the way up to her, and pulled her closer.
“Slapped him, of course, and I might have said the f-word too.” she spoke, as Armaros couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.
“Are you really calling it the f-word?” He asked, as she pouted at him.
“Don’t mock me, you are to blame for me starting to use it. I never used to swear before I met you,” She spoke as she hit him playfully on the chest.
“I’m sorry, it wasn’t meant as an insult, I just found it a bit surprising, that’s all,” he chuckled as he then turned more serious again.
“.. But I’m sorry you had to hear it like that. I was hoping I could have talked to you about it without this happening. I’ll make sure they stay away from you from now on.” Armaros replied, as Stella looked at him.
“I know it’s a lot to ask, but please don’t approach them about this. I want them to know that I can stand up for myself,” Stella spoke.
“I can’t just let them get away with that,” Armaros argued.
“You’re not. I already put him in his place, remember? So let me handle it my way, just this once, okay?” Stella clarified, as Armaros sighed.
“Fine, but if I hear anything similar happen, I will not stand by again,” Armaros warned, which Stella agreed to.
“I got it, thank you.” She answered, as he placed his hand on her chin, and claimed her lips for a moment, before he pulled away and just looked at her.
“What did my dad want to talk to you about?” Stella asked, as Armaros suddenly became stiff.
“I.. Can’t say.” Armaros sighed, as Stella frowned.
“Why?”
“Because he wants to talk to you about it himself..” Armaros spoke, as he hugged her.
“If it’s because he was angry about I was staying with you last night, then I’ll talk to him, don’t worry about it, okay?” Stella comforted, while she hugged him back, but he didn’t say anything, he just kept a firm hold on her for a long time.
[..]
What is this supposed to look like?” Carl asked. He and Hunter had been pulled out of their cell and brought to a clearing, near that part of the forest which was furthest away from the inhabited area.
“Well, I have decided to give you a fair chance to win your freedom,” Chase spoke, as Carl and Hunter looked at him confused.
“How?” He asked.
“If you can get past the border before any of the werewolves in this tribe catch you, you will have earned your freedom, but you won’t be allowed to return to this tribe ever again..” Chase replied.
“And what if we get caught?” Carl asked hesitantly.
“Well.. That’s up to the one who does, so that might give you even more reason to fight for it.. Don’t you think?” Chase asked.
“How is that even fair? We won’t stand a chance against that many!” Hunter blurred out in disbelief. But he immediately regretted his outburst, as Chase stomped up to him.
“Did your treatment of my daughter seem fair to you? You beat and cut her while she was tied down to a chair, before all of you hunted her down, through an unknown area, as you were planning to kill her, please tell me again, what’s not fair!” Chase roared, while he was holding a tight grip on his shirt, but Hunter didn’t dare to answer, as he was terrified to the bones.
“You should be thankful that I’m not going to end your pathetic life right here and now.” Chase added, as he shoved him away, making him fall to the ground.
“I’m at least giving you a fair shot, something you didn’t give my daughter,” he hissed before stepping away.
“We’ll begin when the full moon is at its highest!” he stated, as he turned his back to them.
[Stella’s POV]
“So you’re staying with Bells and Vicca tonight, and your brother is staying the night with Vlad and Lumaura, so you just have fun, okay.” My mom spoke, as she hugged me.
A few days ago, my dad had explained that he needed me to stay at my uncle and aunt’s house because he and my mom were not going to be home.
I didn’t see any reason to question it, so I just agreed to it. Even though I was happy to have a girl’s night with Bella and Vicca, I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed that Armaros didn’t have time to come by.
He had some things he needed to take care of, apparently, but I decided to let it go and just focus on the bright side.
“Thank you, mom, and I’m sure we will.” I spoke, as I hugged her back.
Then the door flew open as Vicca and Bella jumped into my arms.
“This will be so awesome!” Vicca screamed, as I chuckled.
“Right, no boys allowed!” Bella spoke, as both me and Vicca shook our heads.
She was probably tired of us and our mates. I knew it bothered her a bit. She hadn’t found her own yet because she was older than us. But usually, she didn’t show it, so I understood why it felt nice for her to be without them.
“See you tomorrow!” My mom greeted us before she left, and we all proceeded to wave at her.
“See you, Mrs. Lupus!” Vicca yelled.
“See you, aunt Cathrine!” Bella continued, as they pulled me into the house.
We headed directly to the bedroom, and started to talk. It was nice to focus on something else than all the problems, so even if it was in the back of my mind, I was able to have a little fun.
“Okay, now spill it, did you and Armaros have séx yet?” Vicca blurred out, as some of my soda got caught in my throat, so I began to cough, as I probably turned bright red because of the question.
“What?” I asked, as I tried to sound as if I had no idea what they were talking about.
“Arh come on, don’t tell us you haven’t let that séxy honk touch you yet, I have a hard time believing that, with all that séxual tension between you two.” Bella spoke like it was nothing.
“He was your first, wasn’t he?” Vicca asked.
“Of course he was!” I spat as both of them grinned, as I realized I had just ratted myself out.
“I knew it!” Vicca grinned victoriously.
“Tell us; when, where and how did it happen?” She added as both of them looked at me with complete curiosity.
But as I thought about it, I was reminded that it wasn’t one of my most pleasant memories, it had been quite painful, but it wasn’t something I looked back on with complete horror either.
“I don’t think it would be appropriate to talk about it,” I spoke, as they looked at me confused.
“Why? was your first time that bad?” Vicca asked, as I looked at the floor.
And I think Bella caught up to it pretty fast.
“You had your first heat, didn’t you?” She asked me.
I looked at her, as I nodded, which made her raise from her seat, and before I knew it, she was hugging me.
“I’m so sorry, I hadn’t even thought about that. Was it while you were at his place?” She questioned as I nodded once again.
“But it’s okay, I managed to get through three whole days by myself, and well..” I replied, as I pulled my hands through my hair.
“Don’t take this the wrong way, Armaros helped me through it. He was actually really gentle and caring with me, but it’s just a bit sensitive to talk about.” I spoke as they both nodded.
“We don’t have to talk about that time, but have you told your mom about it?” She asked, as I shook my head.
“Not a chance! She has no idea what it’s like. That’s why she has never talked to me about it either. I talked to your mom, remember?” I stated, as she nodded.
“Yeah, sorry, sometimes I forget that your mom isn’t a werewolf, though it doesn’t matter. I can imagine how terrified you might have been.
I have no idea what I would have done if I hadn’t had my mom to get me through my first time in heat.” She explained.
[..]
“Come on! This is madness, you can’t actually be serious about this.” Carl shot, but Chase didn’t look like someone who was anything else but serious. He ignored Carl’s outburst, as he began to explain.
“Like I told earlier, the rules are pretty simple; get past the border at the other side of the forest, and you’re free to leave. You will be marked as rogues, but you can go wherever you like from that point, but you will never be allowed to return to this place again – understood?” Chase stated coldly, as both of them nodded.
“Good, then let us begin.” Chase stated, as the Moon slowly rose to the right position and Chase gave a loud howl, before Carl and Hunter looked at each other and shifted and they both began to run through the dark forest.
Chase's howl was replied by multiple howls coming from the forrest, and both of them knew it was like running through a minefield, but they had no other choice than try to survive it.
People they had known forever were now lurking in the darkness, waiting for the right time to strike and kill.
“What are we going to do?” Hunter asked through a mind-link, clearly worried about the current situation.
“We just have to get past the border, then everything will be fine.” Carl stated, as they continued to run at full speed, as their paws shot through the bland soil.
Carl had his eyes and ears focused on one target, and that was pure survival. He had been used to moving at night, so he knew the sounds and ways through the forest like no one else, but the same couldn’t be said about Hunter.
He wasn’t really that fast or agile, and the time in that cell didn’t do him any good either.
After passing the first half mile, the first group of wolves attacked, and Hunter didn’t stand a chance. He was killed on the spot.
Carl didn’t see any other way than to continue his way towards the barrier alone. He dodged several wolves, and managed to injure a few. He wasn’t going to give up – not without a fight. He wouldn’t die for nothing.
In his head, all he could think of was his anger and contempt towards Stella. According to him, she had broadened this upon him.
She had ruined their lives. All he wanted was revenge, regardless of what it would take, he would return one day.
He ran as fast as his paws could take him, as around five or seven wolves were chasing right behind him. But he was able to see the barrier right ahead, so he wasn’t going to stop for anyone.
He got past the border and shortly after changed back to his human form. He turned to look at the wolves who stopped just by the border, as they were growling, clearly agitated by the outcome, but they knew the rules.
So, they turned around with a gruff, as they proceeded to head back to the tribe.
Carl huffed, as sweat was pouring down his face, but a smile still spread on his face.
“I will get my revenge,” he hissed to himself, as he fisted both his hands, and turned around, but he immediately stopped as shock was evident in his face. As he saw the devil himself stare back at him.
“I see you have reached your final destination. I thought you would be a little more thankful for having survived, but you’re already planning on taking revenge, what a way of looking at the opportunity you have been given.. Surely, I wouldn’t have shown you the same kindness as Chase.” Armaros stated, as he was leaning against a tree.
“But hey, at least I don’t have to feel bad for killing you now,” Armaros added, as he pulled out his gün and took a few steps forward.
“You can’t do this.. The rules were clear!” Carl hissed.
“Right, the tribe-rules.. But I’m not really a member of the tribe, am I?” Armaros asked, as Carl started growling angrily.
His eyes started shifting again, and he then turned back into his wolf form, before he headed directly towards Armaros, ready to rip him to pieces.
“There is one thing I want you to know about me..” Armaros spoke calmly, as he continued to stand his ground, as Carl came lunching at him at full speed.
“.. I never follow the rules.” He added, as one shot echoed through the entire forest, and Carl fell dead to the ground, with a single bullet hole in his head.
