“We are here, Sir!” Armaros’ driver Jinn stated, as he looked out the window, he pulled his hand through his hair and proceeded to step out of the car and walk up towards his house.
Armaros loosened his tie a little, as he was looking forward to getting a bath after the long night he had just been through.
He scrunched his nose as he spotted the bløødstains on his sleeve, continuing his way through the open door, while his mind was running over the work he needed to get done first thing tomorrow. But then he was suddenly brought out of his busy mind.
“Everyone, watch out!” Someone yelled. Armaros immediately turned around, as he pulled his gün out. His men had already pulled out their güns, as a big white wolf, with crystal blue eyes, stepped in through the door.
Armaros had never seen a wolf like that one before – especially, the eye color struck him as odd. For a moment, he just stood frozen, as the wolf just stared at him. But he was forced out of it, as he heard several gunshots go off.
“Don’t shoot!” Armaros immediately yelled. He wasn’t sure why, but he had a feeling telling him that they shouldn’t shoòt it. But then the wolf stumbled on to the ground and turned in to a girl. “It’s a werewolf..? What the hell is she doing here?” One of them named Amon blurred out.
“What if there are more of them?” Another named Dagon asked, as he and Amon pointed with their güns outside the door, as they observed the surroundings. Waiting for any sign of an incoming threat. But it wasn’t of any importance to Armaros, as his eyes were only fixed on one thing – the wolf-girl.
“What should we do with her, Armaros?” Baal asked. Armaros was a bit stunned by the whole thing, but when he had cleared his mind, he immediately felt an urge to cover her up. So, he took off his jacket and placed it around her and lifted her up.
“You don’t need to do anything, I’ll take care of this!” Armaros stated, as he headed towards the stairs. But he didn’t get far, before he had to stop in his tracks.
“What the hell are you doing, Armaros? Can’t you see that she’s a fücking werewolf – why do you wanna help her?” Damien asked. He glared at him, clearly displeased, as he stood in his way.
“Stay out of it, Damien – this is my decision!” He growled, before he continued up the stairs and walked towards his room and placed her on his bed.
Though she had been hit by a büllet, it had only been a stray shot, so she was going to be fine. After he had patched her up, he stared at her for some time. She had this long brown hair, caramel-colored skin and her lips were this perfect natural red color, that made him feel an urge to taste them.
But he quickly shook the thought away – reminding himself that she was a werewolf – the enemy. But Armaros was feeling confused, he felt some strange pull towards this girl, and at the same time, he found her kind of familiar, but he couldn’t figure out why.
As Armaros stepped out of the room, he was met by two other Demons, Corson and Baal, who were coming towards him.
“What are you planning to do with her?” Corson asked with a frown.
“That doesn’t concern any of you!” Armaros replied, as he raised an eyebrow at them.
“Armaros, rumors are going to spread fast. How do you expect to keep a werewolf hidden without the chef finding out?” Baal stated.
“I found her, she belongs to me, so you keep your mouth shut! You got it!” Armaros growled as both of them looked at him in fear.
“Of course Sir!” Corson apologized, as Baal nodded. “Yeah.. It wasn’t meant like that.” Baal added, as they walked backwards.
“And what if he finds out? What should he do about it, anyway? He is my father, he might have been able to strike fear in me, when I was a child, but I’m not scared of him anymore!” Armaros snarled.
[Next morning]
When Stella finally woke up, she had no recollection of what had happened, she just found herself naked in a stranger's bed.
Through the bedroom window, she could see there was already bright daylight outside. Furthermore, she didn’t know if she had been kidnapped or anything, so when this tall pumped guy in a suit stepped into the room, she couldn’t help but snap at him.
“Why am I here?” She fired, as he raised an eyebrow at her sudden attitude.
“I could ask you the same – you are the one who came into my house, remember?” He stated in a plain voice.
“No, I.. I actually don’t..” She stated surprised, as Armaros could see the sincerity in her expression. “But.. What about my clothes?” She then asked, as she pulled the sheets a little higher up.
“You didn’t have any when you passed out on my floor.” He responded as a slight smirk appeared on his lips as he saw the embarrassment, color her cheeks.
“Are you saying I was näked when I arrived?” She blurred out, and he realized that she had no recollection of what had happened last night, whatsoever.
“Okay, what do you remember?” He asked as he sat down on the bedside.
“Uhm.. I was having a fight with my friend at my birthday party, and then he left, and I remember I was getting very angry and then.. Puff – blank.” She spoke as she sighed. Armaros nodded his head. But then she tensed as some realization hit her.
“Shoot! My parents are going to freak out.. Can’t you maybe find me some clothes? I need to get home as fast as possible, or they’ll probably send out every search team they can find, if they haven’t already done that.” Stella asked as her eyes darted around like she was searching for something to use.
“I’ll see what I can do,” Armaros replied, before he rose from the seat.
“Thank you very much.. Uhm, I don’t think I got your name?” Stella retorted, as he turned around and observed her, as she sent him a polite smile.
“Armaros,” He stated, before he left the room. She tilted her head as she was thinking.
“Where have I heard that name before?” She asked herself before she suddenly realized who he was. Could he really be that boy she met 10 years ago? But how the hell did she find him?
----
“You’re just letting her leave?” Damien asked accusingly, as he had heard everything from outside the room.
“Of course not! But I need her to trust me or else she probably won’t answer any questions I have.” Armaros stated the obvious, as he rolled his eyes.
“So, I need you to help me find some clothes – I might be able to make a bargain with her..” Armaros stated, as a smirk came across his lips.
----
As an hour went by and Armaros still hadn’t returned, Stella began to worry, but then the door opened, and he came in with a bag in his hand. “I found this for you..” he spoke, as he held it out in front of him.
“Thanks I..” Stella started, but as Stella reached out for it, he snatched it away.
“.. I just need a little favor in return.” He added, as Stella stared at him, baffled.
“What kind of favor?” Stella asked, as she tightened the grip on the sheet. And it didn’t go unnoticed, as Armaros couldn’t help but chuckle at the look on her face.
“Though I normally wouldn’t deny myself a little treat, it’s not that I’m after.. I just need you to answer a couple of questions, if that isn’t too much to ask?” He replied, as he held out the bag once again.
“So.. Do we have a deal?” He asked as she looked at the bag and took it. “Okay, deal. What do you wanna know?” She answered, as he grinned.
“Great! Tell me.. What exactly are you?” He asked, as his question wasn’t what she expected. “A werewolf.. Or I don’t really have a wolf and I can’t shift, but apart from that, that’s what I am.” She replied.
“Are you sure that’s all you are?” He questioned, as he observed her.
“Why?” She asked, as Armaros moved a little closer.
“You don’t strike me as the typical werewolf-type,” He answered, as he placed a hand on his cheek.
“And what makes you say that?” Stella replied in a plain voice.
“Oh, don’t play dumb with me, babygirl, I can tell you aren’t being completely honest with me.” He added with a grin.
“I’m not sure what you’re implying, but if I did, I think I would have the right not to tell you – and don’t call me babygirl!” Stella spoke as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“Oh, I’m definitely sure you do, and maybe you’re right, but I’m the only one here who wishes to keep you alive right now, so how about you do yourself a favor and tell me what I wanna know, hmm?” He continued, as she was kind of stunned by his reply.
“What happened to you?” Stella asked, as he raised a brow and a smile appeared on his lips.
“Me? What makes you think something happened?” He asked as he leaned closer to her as she leaned backwards.
“Cause.. You didn’t use to be like this.” She replied in a shaky tone. “How would you know? Maybe I was born like this.” He added, as he grabbed a hold on her chin.
But the moment he touched her, a sparkling sensation went through her body and she was pretty sure it didn’t go unnoticed by him. As a feeling told her, he felt it too.
“So you don’t know who I am?” Stella asked him, as he observed her for some time.
“Should I?” He asked, as he slightly tilted his head.
“I guess not, you’re clearly not who I thought you were.” She replied, as she pushed his hand away.
“I don’t know what you expected, but I’m not some sweet kid, babygirl – I’m more like the guy, your daddy warned you about – and unfortunately for you.. You happen to pique my interest.” He replied, as he waited for some kind of response , but Stella didn’t say anything.
“So.. Are you going to tell me what you are?” Armaros asked, as she glared at him.
“Are you going to let me leave?” Stella fired back, but he didn’t respond.
“That’s what I thought, then you got your answer!” She snarled, and looked away from him.
“Then I guess the deal is off!” Armaros sneered coldly, as he took the bag which stood next to her and turned to leave.
“Wait!” Stella called out, as he turned around. He thought she might have come to her right senses, but she just proceeded to take off the necklace she had been wearing and held out her hand, as he frowned confused.
“Now that you have proven not to be who I thought you were, you can take this too – I don’t want it anymore.” Stella stated in a plain voice.
She placed it in his hand, but she didn’t look at him at all, so she only heard the sound of the door being slammed shut, as he walked out.
