[Flashback from the day before]
Armaros kept his eyes on the road, as he banged his fist down the steering wheel.
“Shït!” He yelled, as he thought about how hurt Stella was, when he left her there in the woods.
“I can’t give her what she needs..” he kept reminding himself, to talk himself out of turning around.
“I’ll just end up breaking her.. She is better off without me, she..” he paused as the anger raised inside of him, as he thought about Stella being with anyone else but him.
Especially if it was going to be that pretty boy, Nathan. He had probably just been waiting for him to leave.
“What the hell am I doing? I can’t leave her - fück it! If her father wanna throw me in prison, so be it!” He stated to himself, as he hit the brakes, and began turning his car back around, but at the same moment, another car suddenly drove directly into the side of his with such force, that it made his car turn several times, before landing on the roof.
As he was trying to get free, he heard the car doors from the other one open and footsteps coming towards him. As the door was ripped off his car, and he saw two masked men staring at him, as he frowned.
“Who the hell are you two clowns supposed to be?” Armaros snapped, but none of them said anything, as one of them pulled some metal, shaped as a small staff forward, and pointed it towards him, as he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder when it was pressed against it.
[End of Flashback]
[..]
“Baal!” Stella called as she walked through the forest looking for him. She knew it was that direction they all headed in – she could clearly smell it. But she paused as she was met by four demons, whom she had never met before.
“What do you want, wolfie?” One of them asked, as they all pointed at her with their guns.
“I’m looking for Baal, I wanna speak to him.” Stella stated calmly, as the demon snickered.
“Well, that sucks because I don’t think he wanna speak to you.” He sneered, as they all stepped closer to her.
“Come on, if you just ask him, you will see he knows who I am,” Stella argued.
“You just expect us to believe that? You should have thought it through before you walked in here.. Saleos take her!” The demon stated, as they once again stepped closer to her.
“Listen, I’m not here to cause any trouble, okay? But I will defend myself if I need to,” Stella warned them.
“What’s going on here, Abbadon?” Baal suddenly came into view and asked – making the one she had just tried to talk to – turn around.
“We caught this wolf sneaking around, and she claims that you two know each other,” He replied.
“She is telling the truth, I’ll take it from here.” Baal stated as Abbadon frowned.
“But Damien said..”
“It doesn't matter what he said, 'cause first of all; I don’t work for Damien, but Armaros. And second, Stella belongs to Armaros, so if you so much as think of doing anything to her, I’ll have to kill you.” Baal warned him.
“Fine, let’s go, boys.” Abbadon spoke, clearly annoyed, as all four of them pulled their guns away, and walked along.
“What are you doing here, Stella?” Baal then asked, as soon as they were out of sight, while he stared at her.
“I wanna help you find Armaros.” Stella spoke, as he observed her.
“I’m not certain if that would be such a good idea.” Baal hesitated.
“Please Baal, I’m beginning to get a hold on my abilities, so I think it’s possible for me to find him.” She explained.
“I know you are a wolf, and you’re probably a good hunter and all, but it’s not that easy Stella, just go home before you get yourself in any more trouble..” Baal stated as he turned to leave, but Stella quickly walked in front of him.
“I’m part Lux Blanda.” Stella revealed as he frowned.
“What?” He blurred out as she sighed.
“I know Armaros hasn’t said anything because he has been trying to protect me, but I’m part Lux Blanda, which has given me the ability to find a person I’m looking for through portals. I have only just figured out how to do it on command, but I truly believe I can find him,” Stella explained, as he was quiet for a moment, while he thought about the informationa there had just been given him, but then he proceeded to give a nod.
“Okay, if you’re sure you can do it, then we’ll surely appreciate your help.” Baal spoke as he gave a smile.
Then Stella followed him to the spot they were staying. When she arrived with Baal, they all looked at her confused.
“What the hell is she doing here?” Damien shot.
“Stella wanna help, and I believe she can.” Baal replied, as the others looked at each other, like they weren’t sure what to believe, but one person didn’t hesitate one bit and that was Shax, as he jumped in Stella’s arms and hugged her.
“I’m so glad you’re here, cupcakes! I’ve missed you so much!” He beamed, as Stella chuckled.
“I missed you too, Shax.” Stella replied as she hugged him back.
“But what about the rest of the tribe? Won’t they be mad and think the worst?” Shax asked, as she shrugged.
“I texted my cousins and asked them to cover for me, so it won’t be a problem..” Stella replied.
“Are you sure about that?” Baal asked as he suddenly pointed behind her, and when she turned around, she saw her Kyan, Jaze, Bella, Vicca and Lior, standing there.
“What are you all doing here?” Stella blurred out.
“Helping you, of course,” Jaze stated.
“We could ask you the same question.. Why are you wandering out here all alone? You should have asked us to go with you.” Kyan lectured her, as he eyed the demons with skepticism.
“Hey! She is perfectly safe with me, right, cupcakes?” Shax stated, seemingly offended by the comment, while his arm was still resting on her shoulder. Making Lior look at him with a frown.
“Cupcakes? What’s that about?” He asked, looking confused at Stella as she just chuckled.
“Don’t ask, it’s just some stupid nickname,” Stella grinned.
“Oh great, so now we gonna have the whole PAW Patrol team to help us!” Damien growled sarcastically, as he earned a glare from Baal.
“Be grateful that someone wanna help, stop being such a pain in the àss all the time, Damien!” He hissed, as Damien raised from his seat and glared angrily at Baal.
“Me! I’m a pain in the àss, that little bítch is to blame for this whole mess!” Damien yelled, as he walked with hasty steps towards her, making her take one step back, but Baal had already grabbed a firm whole in his arm, making Damien turn back to him.
“Let go of me, Baal!” Damien growled, but he didn’t move one bit.
“Remember what happened the last time someone tried to hurt her? Don’t make the same mistake, Damien!” Baal warned him, Damien glared at him, before he looked at Stella once again.
“You better praise yourself lucky. Next time you might not have anyone to help you.” Damien stated coldly, before he pulled himself free and walked the other way.
[Stella’s POV]
“Are you okay?” Shax asked as he looked at me.
“Yeah, I’m fine.. I’m used to his hateful behavior, anyway.” Stella brushed off.
“That might be true, but he is only here because his father told him to lead the search, but if it had been up to me, he would have stayed back there, he acts like a fücking child.” Baal replied, as I couldn’t help but chuckle a little.
“There’s nothing new about that.” I stated, as he gave me a smile, then his eyes turned to the others behind me.
“I didn’t think I would see you again, but apparently here we are.” Baal stated, as they all seemed a little cautious, but then Bella spoke up.
“Me neither, but it looks like we all need to work together to solve this mess!” she replied with a small grin.
“I guess you’re right..” Baal replied, as a smile covered his lips.
“So, how do you suggest we do this?” Baal then asked Stella.
“Like I told you earlier, I believe if I make a portal to that place he is, that I will be able to find him.” Stella replied, as Baal agreed.
“We are coming with you, just to make sure everything is alright.” Kyan added, as Stella nodded.
“We are going too then. I do not trust you. Maybe you are just setting us up!” Damien suddenly growled, as he was leaning against a tree some feet away.
“Do as you wish, if that makes you feel better,” Stella spoke coldly as she crossed her arms.
“Then let’s go.” He ordered, as Stella just rolled her eyes at him, as she took a deep breath, closed her eyes, as she tried to focus, but Damien didn’t make it easier.
“Just remember what I taught you, Stella.” Lior spoke as he placed a hand on her shoulder as she shortly looked at him and nodded, before she once again closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
[..]
“How did it go?” Chase asked Jack, as he went back towards the pack house.
“I think I messed up.” Jack replied, as Chase frowned.
“What? Why?” He asked.
“Well.. I tried to explain to Stella that she should listen to her gut-feeling about what is right and wrong, but now I think I misspoke, so I believe she is planning to do something, but I’m not sure what.” He replied.
“How could that possibly happen?” Chase shot, as his anger boiled.
“She believes she is doing the right thing. I couldn’t do anything to stop her,” Jack defended.
“Forget it Jack! Let’s just find her before she does something stupid.” Chase spoke.
“Bella texted a while ago that they were going over to our place.” Clarissa revealed as she stood at the door with Cathrine, as they both heard everything they had just said.
“Are you sure?” Chase asked, as she nodded.
“Then I’ll go talk to her for a moment,” Chase stated as he headed to the house.
“Why don’t you give them some time? Things have been weird for her lately, Chase.” Clarissa started to argue.
“I will, but I just need to make sure she isn’t planning to do anything foolish.” Chase stated, as he walked to the house and was met by Ace.
“Chase? What are you doing here?” Ace asked, as he seemed surprised by his arrival.
“Clarissa told me that Stella and Bella were here, I just need to talk to Stella for a moment..” Chase explained, but Ace looked at him rather confused.
“They aren’t here. Bella told me she was going to your place.” Ace replied, as Chase realized what was going on, and immediately headed back to the pack house.
“Drake, I need you to keep an eye on things for a moment,” Chase stated, as Drake nodded understandingly, before Chase turned to look at Vlad’s confused expression.
“.. Vlad, I know you and I are not on the best terms right now, but I need you to help find Stella and Bella – I think they went out in the woods by themselves, and though I might have been wrong about Armaros, I don’t think his brother Damien is good news.” Chase stated, as Vlad nodded.
“I think you're right, I don’t trust that guy either,” Vlad stated. Chase then changed to his wolf, and Vlad followed him close by as they ran in to the forrest, but as they went in there, all the demons, Bella, and Stella were nowhere to be found.
[..]
As they stepped through the portal, they found themselves in front of a big building. It looked abandoned, but Stella wasn’t really sure about it.
“Great, you found an abandoned building, congratulations!” Damien taunted, as she glared at him.
“Shut it, Damien!” Baal bit, as he looked at Stella questionably.
“I might have been a little off, but I still believe we are in the right place,” Stella defended.
“So, what now?” Baal then asked her, as Stella looked at the building again.
“We need to get in there, I believe that he is in there, we just need to find him.” Stella added, but once again Damien had to interfere.
“No! You can go in there. I don’t trust anything you say. Who says it isn’t just some kind of trap,” He argued.
“I didn’t ask you to come along, and now you're blaming me for setting you up? Could you for once just forget your stupid ego and think about your brother!” Stella shouted at him.
“You do what you want, but until Armaros is back, I’m the one in charge, and I say we stay here, you can take one other with you and nothing more.” Damien growled back.
“Fine, I’ll do it on my own, I don’t need help from a selfish prick anyway!” Stella huffed, as she stepped closer to the building.
“Wait! I’ll go with you.” Baal stated, as Stella turned around, as he stopped next to her.
“Baal, why are you interfering? She said she is fine on her own.”
Damien growled.
“I’m not letting her go in there, by herself,” he replied.
“I’m going too!” Kyan spoke, as he took a step forward, but Damien grabbed his shirt.
“She has enough help, wolf-boy.” Damien bit, as he was tapping a gün against his chest, before he turned back to face Stella.
“Better hurry,” he stated, as Stella glared at him. She wanted nothing more, than to rip his throat out.
“Come on, Stella, he won’t hurt him, isn’t that right, Damien?” Baal stated as Damien grinned.
“Of course not. As long as she returns with my brother, not a single hair shall be removed from his pretty little head.” Damien spoke mockingly.
Stella felt her anger rise even more, but then Baal placed a hand on her shoulder, as he gave her a silent look, making her sigh and nod.
“Okay, then let’s find him,” she spoke, as they both headed in through the big door.
“I really hate him.” Stella snapped in frustration, as they walked down the dark hall.
“I get it, but it’s not all his fault,” he answered.
“But does he really have to be so mean all the time? He treats me and my family like we are some kind of.. Thing or animal.” Stella spoke, while Baal opened several doors, as they proceeded their journey down the long old hall.
“That’s what we are taught, Stella. I used to think like that too, you know.. Even Armaros did,” He explained.
“Well, I know that,” Stella spoke, as she felt slightly hurt, but then Baal grabbed hold of her wrist, as she looked at him confused.
“Hey, what I thought of you in the past, doesn’t matter anymore.. I was wrong, okay?” He revealed, as he looked at her seriously, and she knew he really meant it.
“Thank you for saying that.” Stella spoke, as he then let go of her, and they stopped at the end of the hall where it split in two.
“So.. Which way do we go now?” He then asked, as Stella began to focus on which path they should choose.
“I think I know where he is,” Stella revealed, but at the same time they were approached by a group of masked men.
“Go, I keep them distracted.” Baal spoke, as he pulled out his gün.
“I can’t just leave you alone.” Stella argued, as she stood right next to him.
“If anything happens to you, Armaros will kill me, so just go!” Baal barked angrily, making Stella frown, but she did what he said.
As she was gone, Baal still stood ready to shoot, but they didn’t attack or move one bit.
“What the hell are you waiting for?” Baal yelled at them, but they still didn’t say anything, then all of a sudden, they all just walked away.
“What the hell is going on here?” Baal stated to himself.
After searching for Stella for some time, Baal had to give up. He headed out to see if she and Armaros had already left, but they weren’t there.
“Where’s Stella?” Kyan asked accusingly, but Baal could also see he was worried.
“Some masked men showed up, so I asked her to go look for Armaros while I took care of them, I haven’t seen her since then. I hoped they were out by now.” Baal explained.
“We have to go in there. What if something has happened to her?” Shax asked, worried, but suddenly a big light appeared.
