[Stella’s POV]
As everyone had left the building to look for me, I came out from my hiding place.
I had led them to believe I ran away. I proceeded to run towards the basement again.
I knew I had to get Nathan and my cousins out of here, after the things I had seen and heard because I was sure nothing good awaited them.
“We have to go now, I don’t think it will take them long before they figure out that I haven’t left the house.” I stated as I took out the keys I stole and opened the lock.
Bella hugged me as she came out. I hugged her back, and first at that moment I understood how much I had missed them all.
“I’m glad to see you are okay!” She spoke with tears in her eyes.
“I’m glad to see you too, but we really need to go now.” I said, as we all ran out of the house.
“We will have to run on foot, ‘cause none of us can shift, I don’t know what it was they gave us, but I can’t feel my wolf..” Jaze stated, as he glanced at me, and then at the others, who nodded.
“None of us can.” Kyan added.
“Okay, but I don’t really know the way, so let’s try this way.” I suggested, as we ran down by a more secluded area, to not draw attention to ourselves,
But then we heard some of them nearby.
“Quickly, everyone, this way.” I called as we ran in to some bushes. Then we stayed there as they passed by, but it was like they just kept coming.
“Maybe we should stay hidden for some time, they seem to be everywhere right now.” Jaze stated, as we all agreed.
“But why did you come here, Stella?” Nathan suddenly asked, as the silence had been going on for a long time.
“I don’t know, I can’t remember, I.. I just woke up in that house and was told I was appeared in wolf form.. So, I guess I have one after all, I just have no idea how it works.” I explained.
“Did they hurt you?” Bella asked as I shook my head, and she seemed quite relieved.
“It’s good to see you are okay, and about your wolf.. We will figure it out, when we are back home, I’m sure of it.” Kyan reassured me, as he put a hand on my shoulder, and I gave him a smile.
“Thanks, but though I’m glad to see you too, I can’t believe you all were risking your lives to come here.” I replied.
“Yeah, maybe it wasn’t the best plan.. But I had this idea, that perhaps all the conflicts between werewolves and demons, were built on misunderstandings and if we could just talk to them, then.. It doesn’t’ matter anyway, I know it was a stupid plan.” Bella sighed, as she looked at the ground.
“It is not stupid Bells, and I get it.. Because I have been there too..” I admitted, as I thought about Armaros.
I knew he several times had said he was a bad guy, and he had killed people, but I just didn’t wanna believe he could be that cruel.
As a few hours passed by and the silence had fallen upon us, we haven’t seen anyone come by for a long time, so we decided we would try to find our way out of there.
But almost as soon as we came to the other side, we already got spotted.
“Hey, stop right there! — Everyone over here!” One of them yelled as we turned around.
Shít! Had they really been searching that long?
We tried to out run them, but as we reached a corner, we were immediately surrounded by Armaros’ men and Armaros came in to view shortly after.
“I thought we had an agreement, Stella.” Armaros spoke with knitted eyebrows.
“That was before I found out that you were keeping my family as prisoners and that you probably wanna kill them, who does that?” I yelled at him.
“I didn’t know they were your family, at least not to begin with, and they came to our territory, I simply tried to protect what was rightfully mine.” Armaros defended.
“You can’t just kill people you don’t agree with, it’s not right Armaros, no matter who they are!” I scolded, as I felt myself getting emotional.
“We can talk about this later, just come back home, okay.” He spoke, as he took one step closer to me, as I took one back.
“She’s not going with you!” Nathan yelled, but Morax proceeded to punch him in the gut, making him fall to his knees, as he lost his breath. Morax took another dangerous step towards Nathan, as I was sure he was going to hit him again or maybe something worse.
“No, don’t hurt him, he is my friend!” I yelled as I stepped in front of him, as I pushed him back. Morax glared at me, as I looked around at all Armaros’ men.
They seemed like they were ready to shoot any second. I knew we had no chance of getting out of this one, and I didn’t want anyone to get hurt, so I knew I had to do something.
“If you let them go, then I promise I won’t try to run away again, I’ll stay with you.. Just please, let them go.” I begged as tears started to appear in my eyes.
“I will.. Just come over here.” Armaros spoke in a calm voice, but it was clear he wasn’t as calm as he tried to appear.
“I need you to swear it.” I stated.
“Okay, I swear no one will get hurt, I’ll let them go home, if that’s what you wish.” Armaros promised as he reached a hand out to me.
“And my uncles too?” I added, as I could see the frustration in his face.
“One of them threatened to kill me, Stella!” Armaros growled.
“You did too!” I argued, as he sighed angrily.
“Fine! They can go too, just come over here!” He demanded, almost sounding desperate.
Bella had been taking a hold on my hand for some time ago, so I gave her a quick hug.
“It’s okay, Bells, I’ll be okay.” I reassured her, before she reluctantly let go of me, and I walked over and took Armaros’ extended hand.
But as soon as I did, he immediately pulled me close to him, as I felt him calm down. He placed a kiss on my cheek and put his face close to my ear.
“Don’t you EVER do that again.” He whispered, before he loosened a bit again, but he didn’t let go of me, as he looked at the others.
“Baal! I trust that you can secure that these kids are getting to the border and acquire them with their phones, so they can call their families when you have dropped them off.” He stated plainly.
A lot of his men stared at him in disbelief, but they followed the orders as they put down their weapons.
Baal and a few others proceeded to handcuff Jaze, Kyan, Nathan and Bella, before they were led to Baal’s car.
I looked in the direction of the car, but when Armaros proceeded to pull me back towards the house, I was only able to hear the sound of the car driving off.
“But what about..” I started, but Armaros shushed me, as he stopped in his tracks and pulled me so close to him, that all space between us was gone.
“I’ll have someone to escort them to the border as well, but I’ll only give them one warning Stella, if they come back, I won’t speak for the consequences.” Armaros warned, and I felt a knot in my stomach.
“Then let me speak to my uncle Landon.” I spoke, as Armaros frowned, when I pulled away.
“I can make him understand – I’m sure of it.” I stated, as I was almost begging him right that moment.
He gave a small sigh as he intwined his fingers with mine.
“Okay, but I will be present at all times, as you speak with him.” Armaros stated, as I nodded my head.
“I know.. Thank you.” I spoke, but though I was glad to know he was letting them go, I was still sad because I had really missed them all, and I now knew I probably wouldn’t see them again.

“I know you most likely don’t like us, but may I ask you one question?” Bella asked Baal hesitantly, as he sent her a hard stare.
“That depends..” Baal replied, as he turned back to look at the road.
“Is he good to her?” Bella asked, as Baal knitted his eyebrows.
“Are you talking about Armaros and Stella?” He asked, as Bella nodded.
“I guess.. He.. Seems very fond of her, and though I don’t get what it is, I just know there is something going on between them..” Baal stated with a shrug. Bella nodded as a small sigh left her lips.
“Then I guess she was right.” Nathan stated, as he seemed hurt by the realization. The rest of the drive was quiet, as no one spoke another word, before Baal spoke up.
“We are here!”
He pulled in to the side of the road, and opened the door for them, as he proceeded to remove the handcuffs from them as well. Then he took out a box from the car’s trunk, and handed it to Bella.
“Here are your phones, I will recommend you stay away from now on, and tell the same to the rest of your werewolf friends!” Baal warned them, before he walked back to his car.
“Wait!” Bella called out, as Baal sighed in annoyance.
“What now?” He growled, as he turned his head.
“Could you.. Maybe.. Tell Stella, that I hope she’ll be happy?” Bella asked, as Baal’s expression softened, before he gave a nod.
“I will.” He replied, as tears were evident in her eyes.
“Thanks!” She added, before Baal walked in to his car and drove off.
“I’ll call my dad.” Bella stated, as she took out her phone from the box, when she had turned it on, she saw almost a hundred missed calls and messages in her phone.
She then called her father, and the phone was immediately picked up.
“Bells! Is that you?” She heard her father ask frantically from the other end of the line, as tears ran down her face.
“Yes dad.” She sobbed, but she almost couldn’t speak, so Kyan had to take the phone from her, as Jaze was hugging her.
“Uncle Ace, we are at the border, could you maybe come pick us up?” He asked, as he still wasn’t able to comprehend what had just happened.
Forty minutes later, all their parents showed up together with Chase, as they ran over and hugged them.
“Where the hell were you – you all just disappeared, what were you thinking?” Jack scolded, as he grabbed a hold on Kyan as Kira was crying and hugging Jaze.
“I’m sorry, we just wanted to help, dad, but I think we just made everything worse.” Kyan replied, as he for once was getting emotional too.
“What did you do?” Jack asked with a frown, as all of them looked in his direction.
“We.. Got help from Lior to get to the city where Stella is because we thought we could get her back without causing unnecessary trouble, but we ended up getting caught by the demons..” He replied, as they looked at him in shock.
“Did they do anything to you?” Ace asked, as he looked at Bella, as she shook her head.
“Nothing more than threats, but I don’t know if it would have stayed with just that, if it weren’t for Stella..” Bella replied, as Chase walked over to Bella.
“You saw Stella, is she alright?” Chase asked, as Bella looked to the ground.
“Yeah.. But she.. She wasn’t able to leave with us.” Stella revealed.
“She tried to help us escape, but then we were caught again, and she promised not to run away again, if their leader agreed to let us go.. And he did.” She explained, as Chase’s jaw clinched by Bella’s words.
“.. But there are more..” Bella added as all of them looked at her, waiting for her to elaborate.
“What is it, Bells?” Her father asked, as she first glanced at her father and then back at Chase.
“I think that the demons’ leader is.. Stella’s mate.” She revealed, as everyone stared at her stunned.
