"H-hi..." Sabi ko sa screen na naiilang.
It's Van's second day in Ilocos. At mag-dadalawang araw naring hindi ko matanggal sa utak ko yung mga sinabi ni Vince. Posible ba? But Cassie hates Van, ugh! This is so stressful!

"Okay ka lang ba?" Tanong ni Van. Dahil doon ay natauhan ako. Don't think about it.
"Y-yeah!" I stutter.
"Nagkita na ba kayo ni Cas?" Dagdag ko pa. He stared at me emotionless before answering.
"Yes," He said exhaling the words. Bakit parang pilit pa siyang umoo? Bigla na lang akong kinabahan. s**t. Don't think about it, Lis. Don't.
"Kumain ka na?" I changed the topic. He nods at me saying 'yes'.
"Ikaw?"
"Yeah, hindi ka ba busy? Yung work mo?" Tanong ko. Ali! Stop making him feel like you're not excited to see him at all!
"Babe..." Sabi ni Van tapos sabay kalmot sa kaniyang batok.
"Yung flight mo?," Naiilang na tumingin sa akin si Van. I called out his name.
"Van,"
"I'll be back next next week, I'm sorry—" Sabi ni Van.
"It's fine." Sabi ko sa kanya.
"Babe..." He frowns. I smiled at him to assure him that it's fine. What could go wrong? Apart from everything what else? Malamang wala na, kasi lahat mukhang mali na eh.
Kahit na okay lang, I still can't help but to feel sad and overthink.
Akala ko ba mas prioritize ka over his work?
