Quinn gives me a suspicious look as the door closes behind the others. “Do you really have something work-related you need to talk to me about?”
I have to bite back my grin. She's totally onto me, but I try to pretend otherwise. “I just wanted to give you the details for this trip we're taking tomorrow.”
Curiosity sparks in her eyes along with a bit of amusement. “You could have given me a heads up about that, you know.”
