Chapter : 7. Attacked..

Cassia's point of view:-

After standing at the garage door and watching Aiden and Ethan working on their machines, I got bored again. I wanted to go in and help them, but I was instructed to stay out of there. I didn't know what to do, so I started playing with ice a few feet away from there. Furthermore, I was collecting snow and making a sculpture out of it. It was really fun. But a low growl made me stop what I was doing. I froze in my place. I heard another growl coming behind me sending shivers running down my spine. Likewise, I slightly turned to see the creature it was coming from, and as I feared it was a wolf. I took a whiff and realized that it was an unmated male wolf maybe from this pack, and I know exactly what he wants.
I know I was supposed to run or call for help to save myself, but at that moment fear took the best out of me. It slowly started walking towards me and I started backing step by step with it. I once looked at the garage in the hope to find one of those brothers coming out, but I got disappointed. Before I could think of anything else, that wolf suddenly jumped on me. I fall to the ground while screaming as loud as I can.
Laying on the snow-filled ground I opened my eyes and saw that deep brown colored wolf standing right on top of me. He was getting ready to mark me by showing all of his teeth to me when another wolf came out of nowhere and attacked him right on top of me. I got so scared to see them that I slowly got unconscious.
Ethan's point of view:-

After spending the day shopping with Cassia, I felt really happy. And when she made a special dish for us, it was so delicious I had to praise her. But Aiden didn't like the words I said to her.
“Okay, what are you doing?” He asked me when we went to our room for the night.
“What do you mean, 'what I'm doing?”
“I mean, with that girl. Why are you behaving so nicely with her?”
“You said that we need to keep ourselves away from her. You never said that we need to act rude to her.”
“Look, I'm saying this for all of our good. If you keep talking sweet to her, she is going to fall for you. Our mate bond will make her fall in love with you. Try to understand what I'm saying.” Aiden explained his thought to me.
“Hmm… I understand. I'll do as you say from now on.”
I agreed with him even after knowing that it's going to hurt her, but Aiden's right. It's for her own better. Few days have passed, and I ignored her all the time as much as I can. Even she didn't try to get close to us too. Sometimes I wonder if we're doing the right thing or not.
Today something unexpected happened when we were working. A sweet sound started coming into our ears. Both of us stopped and listen to it for a moment before realizing it is a song, singing by someone.
“Where is it coming from?” Aiden asked.
“I think it's Cassia. No one else is around here to sing at this time.”
Hearing this he dropped the ranch from his hand and started walking out of the garage. As we got out, the song got clearer. I was right. It was Cassia, who is singing. The truth to tell you, I have never heard such a sweet voice before. Her song almost felt like a sirens' song luring its prey, because it was attracting us towards it.
“She's making my wolf crazy. I have to make her stop.”
Aiden was getting angry, but he is right. My wolf is getting crazy too. He wants to take over and claim her right at this moment. But I can't allow him to do that. I was controlling my wolf when I noticed that, Aiden almost reached the house door and getting inside.
“I need to stop him before he does something bad.” Thinking this I started running towards our house.
When I get to him, he has already reached to her and shouting at her. He was so furious that he was about to attack her. I stopped him from getting to her and told her to never sing again before dragging her out of her room.
“Are you seriously going to attack her right there?” I asked Aiden when we were out of the house.
“She's doing this purposely. She wants us to lose our control and mark her. I won't let her trick us like that.”
“Calm down. We can't say that. She was just singing, and we are no one to tell her what to do.”
“She's living in our house. So she has to obey everything we say, or else she can get out of here. We don't need her.”
“I know. But relax now. We can talk about it later.” I stopped him for now. I don't know what is going to happen in the future now.
Yesterday everything went normally after the little episode. Aiden got control of his anger for now and Cassia didn't come out of her room for the day. And for me, I was disappointed in myself. I shouldn't have said her not to sing, like that. Our anger might have broken her heart. I was visualizing her crying face the whole day.
Today Cassia came out of her room and made breakfast for us. She is looking better today. When we were going to our work, she suddenly stopped us and I got worried about what she's about to say.
“I get bored in here. Can I go out with you and watch your work? I promise I won't disturb you.” Her request made me shocked, but I didn't know what Aiden's going to say because he is still mad at her.
'What do you think?' I asked him in the link.
'No way she's coming with us. She's going to distract us all the time, and we need to deliver those engines asap.'
'She's bored. Do you want her to start singing again?'
'Uhh… Do whatever you want. But if she does something, it's on you.'
I shied after arguing with him and told Cassia, she could come with us if she stays out of the garage. She agreed to that and got out with us.
While we were working, I kept my eyes on her in case she does anything stupid. But to my surprise, she didn't even try to get in the garage. After a few times, I saw her walking away. Maybe she got bored and return to the house, thinking that I pulled my whole concentration on my work.
Aiden's point of view:-

This girl is making me crazy. I never behave such nicely with anyone but I don't know why I'm making an exception for her. If I keep things like this with her, I will fall for her. But I won't allow that. When we heard her song, my wolf got crazy. He was trying to take over me to mark her. I got so angry because this is the first time I'm having trouble controlling my wolf. And it's all because of her. I know it wasn't fair that I was about to attack her. My anger took the bad out.
I ignored her as much as I can from that moment. But something unexpected happened that made me scared for her. Today we were working on our garage, and she requested to come with us. I agreed with my brother after arguing a bit.
I was concentrated on my work when I heard a scream from outside. I turned around to search if she's here or not. When I didn't find her, a shiver of fear ran down my spine. I ran outside to look for her along with Ethan when we saw a wolf standing on Cassia. She was fallen to the ground and that wolf is about to attack her. Without wasting any time, I shifted and attacked that wolf. I was so angry to see anyone attacking Cassia that I decided to kill that wolf in this instance.
“Stop fighting both of you. Dean, stop right now. It's my command.”
Ethan used his alpha tone to stop the fight and that wolf got away from me. Now I noticed that this wolf is none other than our beta's son Dean.
“Dean, go back to the packhouse and wait for us. We need to talk.” Ethan said to him, and he ran away from there after bowing down his head.
“We have to take her inside. She's unconscious.” Ethan said to me when I shifted back to my human form.
He picked up Cassia into his arms and took her inside. I'm getting so worried about her now.
“I'm calling Sean to check her and Mia too,” I said to my brother when he was putting her down on her bed.
I made my calls and waited for their arrival impatiently. I'm really worried about her because I don't know if she's somewhere badly hurt or not.
“I shouldn't have made her stay outside.” I blamed myself for this condition.
“It's not your fault. Relax.” Ethan tried to comfort me while I know he is hell worried about her. My brother is a wonderful guy.
A Few moments later Sean came along with Cody our future gamma and his mate Mia. I invited them in while Ethan stayed beside Cassia.
“What happened? What's the emergency?” They asked me after getting in.
“Someone's hurt. We need you to check.” I said to Sean.
“You do know that I'm only a humans doctor, right?”
“Yeah. She's a human. That's why we called you instead of the pack doctor.”
“She?” Everyone got shocked to hear me.
“It's a long story. We will tell you after Sean checks her.” Saying this I dragged him inside her room.
“Oh my.” They stopped in their place when they saw Cassia.
“What are you waiting for? Do your job.”
Sean took a big gulp and started walking towards her. Ethan got up from his place to let Sean check her. He sat beside her and took her one hand in his to check for a pulse. A growl came out from both of us brothers to see him touching her. Hearing us Sean glared at us once before starting his examination again.
“Mhhh… Please stop… Let me go... Please… I beg you… don't do this, stop…! Dad… Help me, please… Dad! Don't touch me…! Noo…!” Cassia started saying in her unconscious state.
“Please don't do this. I only want to be with my mate. I don't want to be with you. Please let me go. I beg you.” She said while tears started coming down from her eyes.
My heart started clutching inside. She might have a lot of hopes from her mates. But unfortunately, we are not the ones to fulfill her hopes. Why the moon goddess has played such tricks with us?
Cassia's point of view:-

I was having the same nightmare, I was having since the day that incident happened. My heart was squeezing out in pain, and I was having trouble breathing. Suddenly my sleep broke, and I saw a man sitting right in front of me. He was holding my hand tightly. Instantly a rush of fear came inside me and I screamed out loud as much as I can. I snatched my hand from that man and jumped out of the bed. I started running but bumped into someone standing in my way. I looked up and saw Aiden standing. My heart told me that he is the only one who could save me at this moment. So I hugged him tight and hid my face in his chest.
“Please save me, please.” I requested him while shaking like a leaf in a wild wind.
“Don't worry, relax. We are right here. Nothing's going to happen to you. Just breathe.” Aiden said to me and patted my head.
I took a few long breaths before pulling my face out. His scent made me relax for a bit. After that, I peeked behind me to see what the man is doing and saw him standing up looking at me. Two others are here too and one of them is a girl. Aiden understood what I was scared of.
“He's not going to hurt you. I called him to help you. He's a doctor.” Aiden said.
“He's going to attack me. He's unmated.” I said after taking in their scent and realizing he is not mated yet but the other two are mated. I tried to hide behind Aiden.
“Technically I'm mated. And I have no intention to attack you.” That guy said.
“You don't smell like one.” I tried to prove my point.
“It's complicated. I'm rejected.” The moment he said that I gasped and came out from Aiden's back.
“You're rejected? What happened? I never heard of a wolf getting rejected…”
“It's a long story. We will tell you later. But first, you need to get checked.” Ethan said to me. I nodded to him and went to sit on the bed.
“Are you having pain anywhere?” He asked.
“No.”
“Did you hurt your head or something?”
“No.”
“Then why did you faint?”
“I was too scared. I think I had a panic attack.”
“Do you had a panic attack before?”
“Yes. I used to have it regularly a few weeks ago.”
“Regularly? What caused you to have a panic attack all of a sudden?”
He asked me and I became disappointed. I think they all should know the reason why I am here today.
