He was taken to the Department of Justice, to a dark room with a single light. He was put in a large chair, tied there, and left alone for what seemed like an eternity. He closed his eyes against the brightness of the light and performed a meditation, which not only calmed him, but helped to pass the time. A violent shake brought him back to the present. “M Sector park, Julian James, 41329. You seem to like it there.” Julian couldn’t see the owner of the voice, although he was aware of at least one other presence in the room. “I know. I do like it there.” “Why?” “I can be alone.
