My father took a thick blanket and wrapped it around me. He carried me to his office. These kinds of affection weren’t reserved for me and, as such, I had even more questions. My mother tried to come into his office and he ordered her out. She didn’t look happy. My father went to his desk and pushed a button. I had only seen him do this one other time and that was when we were at war a few years ago. This button meant no one who wasn't already in the office could come in. It pulled silver bars down over the windows and 4 inch silver sheets from the ceiling dropped in front of the office doors.
