Akuma no Shinobi

I stood still for a moment, keeping my focus on the prompts in front of me. I had ignored all of the system messages I saw on account of the fact that I just met my mother again and learnt startling discoveries about this game. However it was time to see what I had gained, and what direction the future held for me at the moment.

Arashi then gave me a deep bow before completely disappearing, I was a little worried that I would be unable to find my way back, but there was no need for that. I seemed to have suddenly developed a second sense, like an intrinsic ability to navigate the numerous halls and corridors of the entire Kiryū clan main building. It was a rather weird feeling, but that was not the end of it. I could also feel other members of the clan, close or far, it was like having a radar in my head attuned to members of the Kiryū clan, or people with the bloodline.

Well that’s an elaborate chat system, but it’s only for members of the Kiryū clan. But never the less it would come in handy(I think.) I made my way back to the Kiryū tree, however I noticed something on my way there. The Kiryū clan was basically empty/ abandoned. There were only few servants responsible for taking care of the main clan house, and there was not a single trace of any other clan member. I resolved to ask Arashi about it, but I was already in front of the tree, and was a little impatient for my rewards.

Forbidden techniques had really massive requirements. It made me wonder how much clan contribution points would be needed for them to be purchased. It’s was ridiculous, but it spoke off the volume of power these skills were able to display, and funny enough, none of the s rank forbidden Jutsus were combat skills. They could be used during combat, but their effects were definitely not like any Orthodox skill.

{Fade Technique level 1: a very advance version of the Switching technique, except this was made for travel and can not be used in battle. Travel really fast within a radius of two miles.}

{Flux level 1: Chakra is used to vibrate the blades of the user, increasing cutting power and speed by 20%. Armor piercing +20%}

{Harden level 1: a common seal that increases the defense of any structure or construct by 10% used by builders for buildings, and by black Smiths to increase armor defense. The seal can last for a long time by absorbing the ambient chakra in the atmosphere.}

All of the skills were great and amazing but, the shade technique had me salivating. It might not seem like much, but it was just at the first level, plus this was like having an extra teammate! If I had such help when I fought those bloody servants and wolves, I would have left with lesser injuries than I did, if anything at all. I loved it.

The Flux technique could be used in tandem with Chakra blade, while Chakra blade did the same thing Flux did, it was not as effective or as fast. Besides the Chakra blade was a technique meant to coat the sword with a particular chakra nature for a variety of effects. Fire to burn, earth to break, wind to cut, and water to………not sure I know what might happen if I used water.

I have experienced a serious growth in abilities, that much I can say. And I was closer than ever to getting as strong as my mother wanted me too, though how strong she needs me to be, I really don’t know. All my stats were balanced, I don’t know if it’s something I did unknowingly or I’m just lucky, but I guess I won’t be found wanting in some areas.

I had enough contribution points to actually get myself something nice. But before that I still had to buy a Genjutsu technique from the tree. That way my all rounder title would also level up, since Genjutsu is the only area in which I’m missing a technique. Either way, soon, I’ll be ready enough to face what this world has to throw at me.
