Dinner consisted of much less than my mother would have normally done in terms of effort—but considering the unusual amount of people in the house, half of them being people who were unfamiliar to me—I didn’t blame her. It was a simple dish of spaghetti and meatballs, but of course, the amount that she had made was where the effort had come in. Everyone was sitting in various places in the house, due to the fact that it was literally impossible for them all to be in the same place. It was something that I wasn’t happy with, because the beloved mister Hades had decided that it would be best for us to go ahead and sit outside, instead of staying inside the house like normal people would have done, because the temperature was dropping much faster than it should have been and I was almost su
