After the accident, Ruca finally arrived at Evelyn-sensei' s home.
The house situated at very distant from society.
Its giving out an eerie aura that screams out 'Private property! Dont come in!'.
Perhaps this is a typical home for any poison master so there will be no one dare to disturb them in doing their researchs.
It can be seen as a poison master, Evelyn-sensei have also secluded herself away from community.
As Ruca come into the house, an old butler come with a solemn face to attend her.
"Ruca-sama, its regret to tell you that Evelyn-sama have not available to meet you as shes not feeling well".
Hearing that, Ruca senses something is wrong, "What had happened?".
He sigh regretly, "She suffered the backlash during one of her experiment. As an effect, now she is laying on her bed as even moving is diffilcult for her.
How this can be!. Evelyn-sensei can be said a precise woman that always applying full attention on any procedure she go through.
Feeling sad, Ruca said,"Please let me meet her".
"I am sorry Ruca-sama. But Evelyn-sama does not allow you to see her unpresented self". The butler said.
"Please, no matter what the consequence it, I will bear it".
After Ruca pleaded to him. Only then he budge.
The butler knock the door, "Evelyn-sama, Ruca-sama will come in to see you".
Hearing no reply, the butler then open the door for Ruca.
As she come inside the room, it feels too cold. Eventhough it is in summer season, but it feels worse than winter.
Evelyn-sensei weakly lying on bed. There are no trace of her fiery spirit during their first meeting.
"Sorry cause showing you this messy appearance". With her pale lips, she utter the word while trying to sit.
"Its alright, Evelyn-sensei. Please rest". Looking at Evelyn-sensei's difilculties, Ruca stop her from trying to move.
"What happen, Evelyn-sensei? Something must go wrong during your experiment. Please. I want to help you".
"No. Its just due to my careless action". She sorrowly smiles.
"Evelyn-sensei. Please trust me". Ruca starts to moce and take Evelyn-sensei's hand.
The cold feeling she feels when touch Evelyn-sensei makes her shudder but she never let it go.
While hold tightly Evelyn-sensei's hand, Ruca stared at her.
Her eyes as if telling Evelyn-sensei to believe in her.
Seeing her concern, finally Evelyn-sensei give in.
Taking a deep breath, Evelyn-sensei starts to talk.
"Its all starts when I begin to learn poison. Under my master tutelage, I learned with my senior, Fahniel-sama. He takes care of me and always help me to understand poison mastery better. As day passed day, we fell in love with each other but too shy to declare anything". When talking about her senior, Evelyn-sensei's eyes become passionate as there are a fire living in her eyes.
"Like any poison researcher out there, we want to find success in finding a new poison. We adventure world out yhere to find new materials and conducted the experiments together in a laboratory room that feels like a heaven for us".
Suddenly the fire in her eyes extinguished. "One day, we find blue flowers deep in a volcano. Eventhough it is hot but when we come near the flowers, we feel extremely cold. Watching the unique flower, we know that it is a flower that no one had find before. So we decide to research on it".
Slowly Evelyn-sensei closed her eyes. As if want to calm herself before resume talking.
After calm down, she open her eyes. "Unfortunately I underestimate my capability. Arrogantly I tried to conduct the experiment without Fahniel-sama's guide".
"Feeling too full of myself, I didnt realize that there is one missing step when doing the procedure. The ice property of blue flower become uncontrollable".
"The coldness hurts me but I cant move my legs as if it become stone. Sensing something is wrong, Fahniel-sama come to save me. But, at that moment the safety action which is to seal the exit of the lab already automatically start".
"My senior manage to pull me out but he himself are not come out from the room. He was trapped in there".
"What I do that time is just screaming for help and crying looking at my senior slowly become ice through the lab window". Drop by drop, her tears come out from her eyes. The fallen tears become ice when come into contact with surrounding just like her heart that already frozen.
Her foolish youth action have make she regret that day.
"When the safety defense system already break and I come into the room, Fahniel-sama's body already frozen. But at that time I know that he did not passed away! I hear his heart are still beating".
"But no matter how many fire element I apply to melt him, it is no use!. The ice element is too strong. So I continue researching about the blue flower in order to find the cure and save him".
"10 years have passed but there are result at all. As you can see, constant exposure to the blue flower have make me weak. Maybe its time to stop this torture. At the time when I feel my life will come to end, I will stop preserve Fahniel-sama's body. Maybe we will unite in next world". Evelyn-sama sorrowly smiles.
Listening to her sensei, slowly the tears accumulating at Ruca's eyes drops. Her heart ache when knowing the terrible things that had happened in Evelyn-sensei's life.
Now she knows why every time, she conduct research, Evelyn-sensei always told her to be careful and precise.
Deep inside in Ruca's heart, there is a strong feeling that will bloom. She want to help Evelyn-sensei to unite with her lover.
"Evelyn-sensei, please let me help you! I want to search the cure!" She expressed her feeling to Evelyn-sensei.
Hearing her words, of course Evelyn-sensei are happy but she know the consequence of exposure to blue flower. How painful the feeling when the ice slowly bite yourself until your body become numb.
She dont want Ruca to feel the same pain as she gone through. Let the ill fate of her fool action stop at her generation and did not effect her student.
So she shakes her head."Its fine Ruca-sama. You dont have too trouble yourself. I just want you to be happy in anything you do in your life as my death wish".
Ruca cannot accept it. She tries to persuade Evelyn-sensei again. "Evelyn-sensei, let me he....".
Immediately Evelyn-sensei interrupt Ruca's word. " Ruca-sama. I feel tired now. Please let me rest". She really wants Ruca to stop helping her.
"But,..".
"Goodbye Ruca-sama". Evelyn-sensei closed her eyes.
Ruca sigh. She know that no matter how hard she try to persuade Evelyn-sensei, no word can passed through her since she already give up.
So she turn around and retreat from Evelyn-sensei's room.
Realising that Ruca already left, Evelyn-sensei open her eyes and look at Ruca's back. Slowly she whispers "Thank you my dearest student".
But at that time, she didnt realize that there is a glint in Ruca's eyes that show how she will never give up.
'I will save you, Evelyn-sensei'.
