"You know that this kingdom's crown prince, Leon Niel would choose his consort among the daughters of artistocrate family, isnt it?".
"Yeah. Why Daddy?" I ask him curiously.
"Among the daughters of artistocrate family, you and 2 more lady had been choosen as candidates based on age and lineage."
My father continue," The candidates for the future queen must be excellent in any field. After graduating from academy which you and Prince Leon would be attending together, Prince Leon would choose his future wife". He said to me.
What! Me as a candidate for Prince Leon'consort! Wow! Is this a dream.
Seeing I become speechless, my father said, "But if you dont want to be candidate, you can decline. Dont worry, I will not force you". He assured me.
Decline! No way. Infact i feel so glad. This is like a heaven gift for me. With the knowledege from game on the Prince Leon preference, I can imagine how close we will be in the future. Hehehe.
"No Daddy, I accept to be the candidate. In fact I am glad to chosen as the Prince Leon's consort candidate". Eagerly i said to my father.
Seeing I agree, he let out a relief sigh. "Then you know that after this you will receive a lesson for future queen. A very strict lesson".
More lesson! For my Leon-chan, i will do anything to befit his requirement. I can do this.
"Dont worry Daddy, I can undergo the hard training! As your daughter, i will never give up and run away from hardship".
He looks proud. "Yeah, my daughter is the best". He laughed happily.
"By the way, when I will meet Prince Leon for our first meeting?".
"For the first audience, you and the other 2 lady will meet him during his 13th birthday party, which is 2 month away". He informed me.
"Thanks Daddy. I will be the best candidate so he will choose me".
2 month is a short time. I need to start diet now.
Then I take my leave to my room. The days are going to be hard, but this will not make me give up.
After the day, i begin taking lessons from my mother on how to become ladylike, how to converse with the artistocrate and many more.
During the evening, i will follow my father and learned from him the management of territory.
And sometimes when I am free, I will visit Liniel and play with her. Her smile and laughter really can heal my heart. It is a dose of happiness for me.
The days continues until the Prince Leon's birthday party come.
From the game experience, Prince Leon's colour preference is green. Thus, I ask my maid to prepare a green dress.
As I try the dress, my maids give me a thumb up and compliment me. Then my mother help me with a hairband which become the accessory for my hair. Looking at the mirror, yeah its look good to me
Satisfied with my looks, i start move into the carriage to go into the palace with my father.
On the road, I cannot hide my excitement in meeting officially with Prince Leon. What would be his first expression with me. Would he likes me. This thought makes me nervous.
As the palace come into my view, i become scared. What if I make a mistake. Do my clothes looks okay?
Patting my head, my father said, " Dont worry, you are perfect". He consoled me.
"Yes, Daddy". I smiled.
As my Father'name being called, we start to move into the birthday's hall. I can see many people in the hall which are the high figure in the kingdom.
"Ruca, you can converse with others. If anything happen, you can call me". My father said to me.
"Yes, Daddy".
As I learned about ethiquette among aristocrate from my mother, gracefully I approach a group of lady similiar as my age and introduce my self.
"Hello, my name is Ruca Ciara from House of Duke Ernest. Nice to meet you". I greeted them.
"Hello, I am Mia Zara from House of Duke Firlie. Nice to meet you too". Lady in yellow dress told me.
"And I am Lara Girt from House of Duke Albert. Nice to meet you too". Lady in blue dress told me.
Aren't them another two lady for Prince Leon's consort candidates. What a fate. We can be friend.
"Aren't you two the other two candidate for Prince Leon's consort candidate. Please treat me well". Smilingly i said to them.
"Yeah. You too isnt it?".
Nodding, i ask them, "Yes. Can we become friends?" I look at them.
"Yeah! Lets be friends." We become close.
Then we start chatting about our interest and hobby. Honestly, conversation with them are interesting. Their astonished expression when I told them some thing like a unique monster are interesting.
As we are having fun together, suddenly there are announcement
"Prince Leon Niel come into the hall".
All the guest stop talking and welcoming his entrance.
Looking at his majestic and cold appearance, i can feel my heart is beating loudly. His movement as if walking on the cloud is so graceful.
As he walking on the stage on the hall, he started his greeting, "Thank you for coming into my birthday party. Please enjoy yourself today".
I can feel my face is being heated up. His voice is so deep. Eventhough he is just 13 years old, how can he be so charming. This is a sin!
Looking at my two other friends which is also the candidates become love struck, i become possesive.
I poke them and said, "Lets fight fairly. But I am going to tell you that he will choose me at the end".
"Ehh..We are going to win his heart too". And they start poking me too.
"Okay...okay, stop playing". We laugh together.
As the party comes to end, the three of us are going to meet personally with Prince Leon in the guest room.
In front of the room, we take a deep breath and start to open the door after receive the permission.
"Come in".
