Waking up. I smile. I feel so refreshed. All of my fatigue gone.
Looking at my maid, "Good morning. Please prepare my attire. I would like to greet my mother".
"Good morning, Ruca-sama. I would prepare it now".
"Thank you". I smile at her.
While she preparing my clothes, i start to stretch my body.
"Aahhh". The maid screams.
I look at her. Her eyes full of terror and her finger shows the direction of my pet.
"Monster".
Calming her, "Dont be afraid. It is my pet, Ai".
To show that Ai is not harmful, I stretch out my hand and Ai start to coil itself at my wrist like a bracelet.
"Look its tamed, isnt it". I ask the maid.
"Ye..yeah, Ruca-sama. But please dont make us go near it because its quiet scary". She plead me.
"Uh..okay. Dont worry".
" Thank you".
Then i wear my clothes and get myself ready.
"Lets meet my mother".
"Yes Ruca-sama". We start moving to my mother's room.
Arrived, i knock her door.
"Enter". I start open the door after received the permission.
When i enter the room, suddenly I feel myself being hugged. Strongly.
"Mommy?"
"Let me hug you". I feel wet on my back. She cries.
Without say anything, i hugged her back.
"Its okay. I am here". I patted her back.
"Ruca".
"Yes".
"Ruca, are you okay?".
"Yes".
"Ruca, do you get enough meal?".
"Yes".
"Ruca, do you miss me?".
I smile. "Yes. I miss you so much. Do you miss me?".
Releasing me, she looks at me,"I miss you".
Bring out handkerchief form my pocket, i start to wipe her tears.
"I am fine. I have finished my training and I am not injured. Dont worry".
"Okay". After calming her down. We start to chat. I tell her my adventure experience minus the things about Lady Rose illness.
As the afternoon arrive, i leave my mother room for the audience with my father.
As my maid and I walking to the direction of father's office, I see Liniel running toward me.
"Ruca-oneesama!!!!".
She hugged me. "You come back!".
"Yeah, yeah. How are you little kid?". I patted her head.
"I am fine". She smile and hold my hand.
"Ruca-oneesama, lets go to my place". She start to pull me. Then she give signal to me.
"Yeah..yeah".
Looking at my maid, "I will spend my time with Liniel for a while. Then i will go straight to Father's office. You can go rest".
"Yes, Ruca-sama". She start leaving.
After that, Liniel bring me to Lady Rose's room.
"Ruca-oneesama, my mother is gradually better". She show Lady Rose to me.
Comparing her condition before i treat her. She seems better. Thank God.
"Wow. Its great. Who cures her?". I smile at her.
"I dont know. Maybe it is miracle". She laugh.
Hearing we talking, Lady Rose slowly open her eyes.
"Sorry, do we disturb you?". I ask her.
She shook her head, "No. You are not disturbing me".
"By the way, I want to talk personally with you Ruca, can I?"
"Yes". Then Liniel move out of the room.
As its only me and Lady Rose in the room, Lady Rose start to sit on her bed.
"Come close, Ruca".
I start to go near her and suddenly she hold my hands.
"Thank you for saving me".
"No. Its not me. The doctor that had saved you". I deny it.
"It doesnt matter. I know the truth. I know if there is no you, my illness will worsen and I will die. Thank you". Her eyes filled with gratitude.
Giving up on denying, "Welcome and just take care of yourself better".
As Lady Rose cured, she looks beautiful. Her aura can warmth people. Her smile can heal people's heart and even being looked by her can make people feel safe.
I know why my father's love never change for her. His love is true.
"Honestly, why you do not tell father about your illness? Maybe you can be cured immediately". I ask her curiously.
She sigh."You know that I am only a mistress. If he doesnt love me, i will turn worthless. When an illness called 'aging' come, i know his love for me will change. Man's love only last a while and strong like a glass. Fragile".
Looking at me, "So i try so hard to not troubled him, take care of him and silence my heart. At least, when he fall out of love, he will not throw me away".
Hearing about Lady Rose's feeling, I understand that she is afraid. Afraid that one day father will leave her.
Resolve my will, i faced her and look into her eyes, "Stop hiding! Believe in father. I can see he truly love you. Even when my mother come, he still choose you".
"Remember that he loves you for who you are. Stop hiding and be true to youself. And if father really change his heart, i will take care of this family". I promised.
She start crying.
"Dont worry. Even if you are a mistress, you are still my step mother". I consoled her.
"Thank you, Ruca".
After a heartful conversation with Lady Rose, I start to take my leave and said goodbye to Liniel.
Heading toward my father's office, I start to knock the office's door.
"Come in".
When I come inside, I see my father smiles.
"How are you, Ruca? Have you gain something from your adventure?" He ask me.
"I am fine. Thank you. I have gain experience from the journey, Father".
He starts feel depressed. "Why so distant, call me 'Daddy'".
"Yes, Da..Daddy". I blushed. Its look like he is so happy that I called him Daddy before i go adventured.
Hearing I called him Daddy, he smiled. Satisfied.
After that, we start talking about my adventure.
As the days become late, I want to take a leave to my room.
"Ruca, actually there is something I should tell you". My father suddenly become serious.
I had a bad feeling.
