Sophia I tossed and stirred as I tried to drop the black canvas stretched out in front of me. It is the only thing I see as I stare far and wide. I feel as if I had just finished a long straining hunt and now wish to eat my mother's cooking of the kills I have brought. My body feels relaxed and rejuvenated and I wish to wake up. My brain is restless and urges me to abandon the comforting and snuggly darkness. It keeps pushing me back to the edge and tells me to keep fighting however I keep going back to the warm and friendly darkness, wishing to continue resting. I let the black canvas shield me but a sudden strong push from my brain forces me to step over the edge into the light leaving behind the darkness as I open my eyes.
