“Why did you not ride with them?” Theo asked me when Quinn and Shawn drove away.
“I don’t want to,” I simply replied.
Theo gave me a look. “You were so cold to him. We can all see that he’s serious about being a father to Shawn.”
I smiled weakly. “He has a girlfriend. She will hinder him from being a good father.”
He raised his brow. “His girlfriend is not your problem, Margaux. We know that.” He crossed his arms while I stared at him. “You still have feelings for him.”
