The sight of a half naked Andrew frightened Annabel.She almost dropped the cup of coffee but she was able to control the cup from falling.
“I’m so sorry”She apologised immediately, turning her gaze away from him towards the door.Andrew scoffs and walks closer to her.
“I think you should dress up, this isn’t a good sight for me”Annabel's voice came out pleading, hoping he will listen and not make things more awkward for her.
“What do you mean, this is my room and I can dress however I want to dress”Andrew’s husky voice pointed out,he had a devilish smirk on his face
“Can you excuse me a little?”He politely asked.
Annabel was confused on why he was being polite but she immediately excused him without questioning him.
He closed the door, which caused Annabel’s heart to skip a beat. She couldn’t help but think about the negative thing that is about to happen right now.
“W..what..do..you..think you are doing”She stutters on seeing the door closed.He scoffs and walks directly to her
“You don’t need to feel shy around me”Andrew’s words made the cup in Annabel's hand drop to the ground causing a big splash everywhere.
“I am so sorry, I will clean it up immediately”She tries to walk away but was held back by Andrew.
“Where do you think you are going?”A wide smirk spread across his lips as soon as he uttered those words.
“I…need..to.. clean this mess”Annabel tries not to stutter but couldn’t help it as he was staring into her soul making her gaze down immediately.
“Won’t you at least look at me”Andrew smirks seeing the state she is in.
Annabel was finding it hard to breathe, it feels like she is about to pass out any moment from now.
“I should really get going now”Before she could leave Andrew pulled her closer to him.
“Do I make you feel uncomfortable?” He whispers into her ear ,his hot breath fans her neck.
“Yes you do,”She answered immediately without hesitation.
Andrew himself was astonished and impressed by her straight honesty. It must have been the air in the room that had stimulated such words to break out of her slightly parted lips.
His gaze on her lips caused her to unconsciously moist her lower lips, swallowing the saliva only to again dry out her dehydrated throat.
“You should be careful, what you desire can become quite dangerous” Andrew let out with a groan.
Though Annabel never uttered any other words as she stated unblinking at Andrew, an imposing silence intensifying the atmosphere.
None of them moved as they gaze at each other’s lips. Andrew placed his hands on Annabel’s cheeks, gently caressing the skin, the finger going a little too close to Annabel’s lips.
For several seconds, the two complimented each other in silence. The more time passed, the more she felt that gesture was imminent.
Andrew’s eyes descended on Annabel’s parted lips and she squeezed them, licking them quickly. Her throat tightening and her anxious heart animating with violent beating.
His steamy eyes moved up to encounter hers, And his thumb brushed Annabel’s lower lip caressing it gently.
An indecipherable glow appeared in Andrew’s eyes as he lightly touched Annabel’s lips leaning closer to her to kiss her, he stopped when he heard the sound of the door.Annabel flinched as soon as she heard the door
“Son, are you in?”His mother's voice booms from outside.Before he could say anything, she opened the door and saw the housekeeper in the room.
Annabel’s eyes immediately widened when she saw her boss. A lot of things were going through her mind right now.
“What are you doing here?”His mother asks with confusion with her gaze on Annabel.
“What Happened here?” She asks again when she saw the broken glass cup on the floor.
She decided to ignore the fact that Andrew was putting on only a short In front of a married woman.
She is already used to the fact that he was shameless around women but she has no problem knowing that she is married, she won’t do s**t with him.
“It is my mistake ma’am, I will get it cleaned”Annabel immediately apologised.
“You should be careful next time, someone can get really injured because of this”His mother reprimanded Annabel.
“Are you okay son, I hope you didn’t get injured with this”She asks with concern for her son.
“I am okay mom,I am sure she won’t make this mistake again”He assures his mother giving Annabel a quick wink without his mom noticing.
“I will get going now” Annabel rushed out of the room.
She immediately went to get the cleaning supplies, she held onto the table beside the counter because she was weak in the knee.
‘What the f**k is happening to me? What just happened there? I am supposed to be married and not a shameless housekeeper who has no respect for her made up husband. This is getting really out of hand already, I am slowly falling for his trap. Juliet will be so disappointed when she finds out about what I have done. God dammit Annabel, you need to f*****g get your s**t together, this is what he wants from you. You fall overly in love with him and then he breaks me and I eventually get fired from this job’ She bickers out loud with frustration.
“You shouldn’t stress yourself with her, she is still new here and she made a mistake” Mrs Torres tells Andrew with a smile.
“I just had to make sure she doesn’t do something like this again”He blurted out with a smile on his face.
“This is strange,” Mrs Torres uttered with confusion.
“What do you mean by that mom?” He asks with confusion.
“You have been smiling for so long now, it has been long since I have seen you smile this much”His mother pointed out with a suspicious tone.
“Come on mom, I guess I am happy with how things are with the company”Andrew uttered.
“I love to see you like this all the time,did your brother tell you anything about his date?” She suddenly asked out of the blue.
“I haven’t heard from him yet,I guess he isn’t home yet”he replied.
“I really want to see you both settle down and have your own family”She admits.
“Come on, mom. We are going to be fine, you don’t have to worry about a damn thing”He assures her.
“Are you seeing someone, do you have anyone you are interested in?” She asks him.
“You know me mom, I don’t really fancy the idea of being with just one person. I still need to explore a little”He explains making his mom frown.
“I think you have explored enough already” she says with anger in her tone.
“It is time to get serious, once your brother gets married, get ready to settle down also”She stood up to leave.
“You don’t need to get angry, mom,”He calmly mutters.
“Just do as I say”His mother finally leaves.
‘I think I will have to disobey you, because I don’t have plans on getting married’ he mutters to himself.
After some minutes, Annabel came in with the cleaning tools to get rid of the mess she created. She wasn’t feeling uncomfortable when she entered the room with Andrew.
Andrew just acted like nothing ever happened between them a moment ago, he just stared at his computer and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that she was there.
Annabel was a little bit happy that he wasn’t trying anything stupid but she just couldn’t take the fact that he was being quiet about the whole situation.
“I think you should know your boundaries” she blurted out, Andrew immediately stopped typing and turned to look at her.
“I mean I am a married woman and you should be coming too close to a married woman like that” she explains further with her gaze down.
He stood up and walked gently towards her, he came closer but she took a step backwards.
“I always get whatever I want” His words were so bold that it sent a quick shiver down Annabel’s spine.
“As long as you are here, you will have to get used to this because it wouldn’t be the last” he disgustingly uttered with a smirk on his face.
“I shouldn’t be saying this but don’t you have any shame” she blurted out with an irritated tone.
“Oh! Shame, I don’t have that”he winks at her as soon as she looks at him.
“You can’t get your way with me, I love and respect my husband too much to do this to him”Annabel looked straight to his lovely eyes that made her weak in the knees.
“Are you sure about that? for what I know, we almost made out”Andrew pointed out with a cocky smile.
“That’s a lie, I will never do that”Annabel quickly defended.
“Whatever you say sweetheart”He walked back to his desk.
Annabel was disgusted by his behaviour, he really doesn’t have any respect for women.
Now she understands what Juliet meant by staying away especially from him, he is definitely bad news and he will get her into trouble.
She resumed cleaning the room, she didn’t utter a single word to him until she finally cleans the whole mess up. She left immediately and she was done with cleaning.
‘She seems fun’ Andrew whispers to himself with a smile.
Albert came back home after his date with Tracy, he went to his room without informing anyone that he was back.
Albert didn’t go to his brother's room like he usually does, he is just too stunned to understand what just happened between him and Tracy during lunch.
‘I need to talk to Andrew about this’
