Walter adjusted his tie in the reflection of the enormous high-heel shoe statue consisting of thousands of tiny mirrors in the Bellwether Resort’s main lobby. Raymond picked up the monstrosity on a trip to Vegas, and he insisted that it "classed up the joint". Walter didn't even want to think about how much the damned thing cost, or how Raymond was possibly using big purchases like this to skim off the top. Since he began training, Walter had learned to trust Katherine's instincts about many things, but he wasn't ready to believe his brother was capable of that level of corruption.
