Chapter 6 The next train didn’t take long. Twenty minutes at the most. Once he got on, the ride to the suburbs of Virginia was uneventful. The walk home, a few blocks from the station, presented a different challenge. It had started to snow and the long coat Jake wore barely kept him warm.
