Chapter 4
Jake passed Dupont Circle and when he saw the school he slowed to look for parking. When he found one, he further decelerated, turning the music off before he finally parked. He zipped up his light running jacket, checked that his shoe laces were tied, then made sure his cell phone was secured in the jacket. Before hiding it away he confirmed that Xavier hadn’t called or texted him. He definitely wanted to get any calls or texts from the legal staffing agency. He hadn’t heard about any new jobs lined up for him.
After stretching for a few minutes, using the car to push his legs, and some one-legged stretches, Jake locked the car then started a light jog.
