Nina's P.O.V.
I run and run as fast as I can ignoring not only the burning pain in my legs and thighs but also the burning and debilitating pain in my head which I know is from Dimitri and several other people who are trying to mind link me but I've put a block up which is causing the pain because I'm fighting to keep it up and they're fighting to break it down.
I arrive at the East side of the border and stop running to take a look around.
I can't see or hear anything even with my heightened werewolf hearing and vision which is so f*****g frustrating.
"KAI!!"
I shout hoping to hear her sweet little voice but instead, I got a weak and petrified whimper in response.
I briskly walk towards where I heard the whimper and I was happy and elated when I found Kai sitting there with her back
