Chapter 4 - Where's Isabella? - Part 1.

Dimitri's P.O.V.

"I can't believe how late we are, this is absolutely ridiculous"

"Calm down, baby, we're only a few minutes late"

"Babe, a few minutes late is like three or four minutes, not forty-five minutes"

My momma said whilst rolling her eyes.

It's funny because the reason why we're so late is because of the girls.

My momma was struggling to find something decent to wear because she still feels insecure with her body after having Kailani even though it's been a year and she looks great, she still feels uncomfortable in some clothes but thanks to my dad she was able to find something that made her feel comfortable.

Isabella was also bitching and moaning over what to wear because she didn't like the dress our momma had picked out for her and she wanted to wear a dress she picked up at the mall but me, my dad and my brothers quickly shut that s**t down because it looked like something a hooker would wear not the princess of all supernaturals.

Eventually, Izzy found something decent to wear and she looks absolutely stunning.

Finally, there's our baby Kai who initially refused to have her bath and our parents had to chase her around the house in a funny game of cat and mouse.

When she eventually did have her bath and got dressed, she managed to get her dress dirty thanks to one of those idiots Xander or Xavier who gave her chocolate pudding.

I swear there's only half a brain cell between those two boys.

Luckily for the dynamic duo, my momma had a spare dress because she knows what Kai is like and knew that there was a high chance of her ruining her dress before the party.

"Calm down mi amor, we're here now and everyone looks perfect"

My father says as he leans in and kisses my mommas temple.

I smiled seeing this and the deep yearning I have inside of me to find my own mate is growing stronger and stronger as the days go on.

I can't wait to meet her.

We arrive at the castle and are instantly greeted by the royal guards who greet us all individually by our royal titles.

"Enjoy the party your honours"

The royal guard says after greeting us.

We walk inside and I was in awe seeing not only how grand the castle is but also the amazing party that has been arranged for Max.

You'd think my frequent visits to this place over the past eighteen years would dilute my reaction whenever I see how grand and beautiful it is but it doesn't, I still get awestruck to this day when we come back here.

"Natalia, my baby"

I hear a strong and very happy voice say and I knew exactly who it was.

"Hi daddy"

I smile watching my momma embrace my grandfather as my grandmother hugs my father.

I noticed that my uncle Nathan and uncle Christian, as well as their families, are also here to greet us.

"Oh Koa look at our grandbabies, they scrub up well, don't they?"

"They sure do, baby"

"Well duh, they're my kids"

My momma says whilst rolling her eyes.

"Hey, what about me? I helped make these kids as well, babe"

"Oh I know, babe but you've gotta admit my genes are way stronger than yours and their good looks come from their Samoan side"

"And what about my Spanish side?"

My father growled as my momma gives him a really? look.

"Cole, it's a well-known fact that Samoans are better looking than Spaniards"

"Oh really?"

"Mm-hmm"

"Name one"

"Dwayne Johnson"

My momma says in a duh tone.

"Oh yes baby, I agree with you on that one, in fact, if I hadn't met your father when I did then I would've happily hunted that hunk down and made him my baby daddy"

My grandmother says agreeing with my momma earning a growl from my grandfather and groans of disgusts from her sons and grandkids.

We were interrupted by my uncles beta who came to get my uncle and auntie so that they could give a speech and start the celebrations.

I couldn't help but chuckle at my parents when I saw my momma trying to convince my father that she was just joking whilst my dad, the biggest, baddest alpha the world has ever seen stood pouting and acting like a stroppy kid.

It's been eighteen years since my parents got married and started their family and you'd think over time, their love and passion for each other would have dwindled out but it hasn't, they still love and care for each other the exact same way as they did all those years ago.

"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention, please?"

I hear my uncle Nathans voice boom throughout the grand hall of the castle and everyone instantly narrowed their eyes to him to hear what he's gonna say.

My uncle Nathan and my auntie Rachel delivered a wonderful speech about my cousin and embarrassed the hell out of him by telling stories from over the years including his love, over-protectiveness and possessiveness of his mate Charlotte from a very young age as well as showing numerous pictures of Max from when he was a baby to now.

Speaking of Charlotte, she was supposed to be here as Max's mate as well as the future queen of all supernaturals but she couldn't because her momma Amy was involved in a very serious car accident six months ago which almost claimed her life and Charlotte has barely left her side since.

Auntie Amy is doing great now and is currently recovering from two broken femurs but it was touch and go in the beginning.

Amy was in a coma for four months and flatlined at least six times because of the trauma to her heart and her family was told to prepare for the worst but luckily for uncle James, Charlotte and the rest of their kids, Amy survived and is back to being her usual mouthy self.

Waitresses came around the hall and started handing out drinks to everyone.

My younger brothers tried to sneak a glass of champagne each but they both earned a slap on the backs of their heads by my dad.

"Now, if you'll all raise your glasses and wish my son, your future king of all supernaturals Maximus Harrison, a very happy birthday and many great returns"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAX!!"

Max smiled as he approached his parents giving them both a hug and standing in front of the microphone.

"Thank you everyone, I'm happy that you all could make it here tonight and I hope you all have fun, let the party commence"

The celebrations begin starting with a six-course meal which I know sounds like a lot but we're werewolves remember, well a lot of these people are, everyone in the royal family are hybrids so we need extra food so that we can keep up our strength.

After we finished eating our food, the dancefloor was opened and the once elegant grand hall turned into an ambience that one would compare to a nightclub.

A DJ replaced the Jazz singers who were providing us with some beautiful music as we ate and the warm, cosy lighting was now changed to disco lights.

Folk in our world assume that royal parties are boring but they never are and never have been and it's all because of my grandparents who didn't want people to think of us as a stereotypical royal family who ate with numerous different utensils or drank tea and ate scones.

No, we're a badass royal family and our parties are actually legendary.

A few hours into the party and everyone was having fun.

Right now I'm sitting at a table with my parents, my grandparents, Massimo, Grayson and Kai as my younger sister tries to teach my dumbass brother some pretty complicated math, in fact, it's one of the most complicated maths equations in the world.

You'd think Grayson would know more than a one-year-old especially when it comes to a subject such as maths but he doesn't yet my incredibly smart baby sister knows more than you'd think and some have even called her a child prodigy, that's how smart she is.

"Come on Gray, it's not rocket science, you can do this"

Kai says in her adorable voice as she tries to encourage my brother to solve the equation.

To be fair, I'm looking at it myself and I can't seem to figure it out and I'm very smart when it comes to maths.

"I just don't understand what the alphabet has got to do with maths"

"Stop making excuses Grayson and solve it"

Everyone chuckles at Kai who is so much like our momma and Izzy and I know my father hates this.

As much as my father loves and idolises his girls, he wanted at least one daughter who was more like him or our aunties and uncles than our momma.

"I can't do it, I just can't"

Grayson says throwing a strop.

"Urgh!!, you're so useless, Grayson Dean Vasquez"

Kai says causing everyone to once again laugh.

"She's definitely yours my dear, sweet Natalia"

"She sure is daddy"

My momma says kissing Kai's head.

"But she's got her daddy's brains"

My momma looked at my sister and dad affectionately and I groaned when my father leaned in and kissed her.

I don't think I'll ever get used to their constant PDA.

"It's simple Gray, look"

Kai solves the maths equation in less than a minute shocking both myself and my brothers whereas my parents and grandparents were looking at her with pride.

"How the hell did you do that, Kai?"

"I already told you it's simple, idiota" (i***t)

Kai says rolling her eyes and we all look at her shocked.

"Kai, where did you learn to speak Spanish?"

Massimo asks her.

"From momma, I always hear her calling daddy an idiota, oh and Izzy too, she's ALWAYS saying that word"

My momma's mouth gaped open and I saw a slight blush of red on her cheeks.

"In my defence, I only ever call your father one when he's acting like one"

"Then he's one every day of the week, momma"

Kai says with a chuckle and we all laugh.

I shake my head at my little sister as I take a sip of my drink, this girl is too smart for her own good.

Whilst taking a sip of my drink, I noticed Isabella was by the bar and she was drinking several glasses of champagne.

This freaking girl is seriously gonna be the death of me.

"Excuse me, everyone"

I stand up and briskly walk over to Isabella and managed to reach her in time just as she was about to grab another glass of champers.

"Oh no you don't, what the hell are you doing, Isabella?"

Isabella groaned as she turned to face me.

"I'm hoping to drink enough to make this party seem fun"

"And get your ass in trouble with our parents at the same time? wow, you really are smart, Iz"

I say whilst placing the glass back on the bar.

"Well, it's not my fault this party blows, D"

"Don't be disrespectful Izzy, you know how hard grams and auntie Rachel worked on this for Max"

"Whatever"

She says letting out a sigh as she looks around the room looking bored.

"Look Iz..."

"Well, well, well, look who it is?"

I groan when I hear the annoying voice of alpha Eric Carpenter behind me.

This asshole is a major thorn in mine and my families side because he wants my father to agree to an arranged marriage between him and Izzy but my father refuses for three reasons.

The first reason is because there's a big age difference between them both, the second is that he doesn't believe in arranged marriages and the third is because he wants Izzy to meet and marry her true mate like he did, not some creep like Eric freaking Carpenter.

I turn around and face Eric making sure to block as much of Izzy from his sight as I possibly can, I don't want this creepy bastard anywhere near my sister let alone looking at her.

"Alpha Eric...what can I do for you?"

"Well, firstly you can move out of the way so that I can get a good look at my future bride, Demetrius"

He says with a smirk and I growl.

"Future bride? I believe my father already turned your offer down, didn't he?"

"Oh, he'll come around eventually"

"I highly doubt it"

I tried to remain calm even when I felt Isabellas quivering hands on my back gripping my suit jacket.

She's frightened and it's pissing me off because she's a princess, literally and figuratively, this is her family's home, she shouldn't be made to feel frightened or unsafe in her own f*****g home.

"Well, when your father hears my latest pitch, I'm sure he will...after all, he gains a lot from bonding our packs together"

"And what pitch is that then?"

Alpha Eric and his goons flinched and I smirked upon hearing my brother Massimo's angry voice.

Massimo and Grayson came to stand next to me further blocking off Isabella from alpha Erics sight.

"And what do we have to gain by being bonded to your pathetic pack? if anything, your pack gains a hell of a lot by being bonded to us considering the Dark Shadows pack and the Royal pack are the strongest packs in the world, not to mention my uncle Angelo and my uncle James have got pretty strong packs as well"

Grayson growled.

"We're a strong pack too, i***t"

"Yer, we're in the top twenty of the world's strongest packs"

Beta Trey and his mate chimed in whilst smirking.

"Checkmate b***h, our families packs are in the top four"

Massimo says and I smirk but my smirk very quickly changed to a scowl when beta Trey tried to square up to Massimo to defend his mate.

I quickly stood in front of Massimo when Trey tried to approach him but it wasn't because Mass can't defend himself because trust me he can, no it's just that I can't stand this prick and my wolf weirdly enough has got an extremely strong hatred for him and I don't know why?.

I mean he's a prick and a scumbag but other than that and being beta to the Red Claw pack which is a very scummy pack, he's never done anything to personally hurt or offend me.

"I'd back off if I was you, b***h unless you wanna see what happens when you piss off a Vasquez"

Trey visibly gulped and I smirked when I saw the fear in his eyes but the i***t still stood his ground even when he knew that he's outnumbered.

"Come on baby just ignore him, you're bigger and better than him"

Trey's mate said whilst looking at me like a snack that she wants to devour as her eyes darkened with lust.

"I'd listen to your slut if I were you, Trey"

"I'm not a slut"

She said with a gasp.

"Yer and we're not the princes of all supernaturals either"

Grayson said whilst rolling his eyes.

"Let's go, Trey, it's best we go and speak to the monkey, not the organ grinder"

Alpha Eric smirks and I smirked back.

"Good luck with that"

Alpha Erics smirk quickly dropped and changed to a glare.

The three idiots then turn around and leave.

"We need to have a word with grams and gramps about not letting the local riff-raff in next year"

Grayson says whilst glaring at the three stooges.

We all then turn to look at Isabella who immediately embraced me in a hug.

"Thank you, D, thank you so, so much, you don't understand how much I hate that guy"

"You're very much welcome, Izzy"

I said whilst wrapping my arms around Izzy's shaking body as I kissed the top of her head.

Several Hours Later...

The party is coming to an end and we're currently rounding everyone up to say goodbye so that we can head home and sleep but rounding up the Vasquez kids is like trying to round up cattle especially when some of us are slightly tipsy.

"Ok, have we got everybody?"

My momma says whilst counting each of us.

"No, I'm missing one of you, I'm missing Isabella...where is she?"

We all look around at each other as well as the nearly empty grand hall and she was nowhere in sight.

Where the hell is she?.

I growled to myself as I wondered what kind of shenanigans she's up to now?.

Oddly enough, my wolf was the complete opposite to me and he was nervously pacing around in my head which wasn't helping to ease my own emotions.

"Where the hell is my daughter?"

My momma growled.

"Stay calm babe, she'll show up"

My father was trying to ease my momma's worries but it was clear as day that he was panicking too.

"Nik, Frankie, can either of you get through to her?"

Twins and triplets have got their own separate mind link which is just between either the two or three of them kinda like how a mate link is just between two mates, normally, it's unbreakable and can't be broken by anything like wolfsbane or silver but Nik and Frankies next words shocked us all.

"No, I've just tried to use our bond to mind link her and I can't get through to her, it's like she's not even there"

Nikolai says with worry evident on both his face and in his voice.

"Same here, it's like she doesn't exist anymore"

"WHAT?"

My parents growled sounding angry and panicked.

"Daddy, can you get some of your guards to look around for my baby?"

"Don't worry princess, I'm already on it, I've got my best men out there looking for her"

My gramps said whilst hugging my clearly distraught momma.

Another couple of hours passed by and there was still no signs of Isabella anywhere not even her scent, it's like she was never here.

We also noticed that my cousins Leia and Miliana are also missing and nobody has seen either of the girls for quite a few hours now.

One person even claimed that they saw Izzy, Leia and Milly sneak out of the grand hall when Max was giving his thank you speech to us.

A few minutes later, we were all startled when we heard two females shouting and we all turned around to see Milly and Leia running towards us.

"DADDY!!"

"MILIANA, LEIA!!. WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BOTH BEEN? WHERE'S ISABELLA?"

My uncle growled inadvertently using his alpha king voice on them.

"Sh..she's g..gone d..daddy, s..someone t..took h..her"

"WHAT? WHO?"

My father growled scaring the girls.

"I..I d..don't kn..know, u..uncle C..Cole"

Milly stuttered.

"He..he..he left th..this"

Leia said as she holds out her shaking hand and my eyes widened in anger and shock when I saw what she was holding.

I grab hold of Leia's hand and pick up the ring which is a very unique ring, one that is only handed out to alphas when they're handed their title and each ring has got a specific design as well as the owners initials on it.

This ring in particular has got a red claw on it as well as the initials E and C in gold.

"THAT SON OF A b***h!!"

I growled as I shifted into my wolf and ran out of the castle.

That bastard is gonna regret the day he was s**t out into this world when I get my f*****g hands on him.

Isabella's P.O.V.

DRIP!!, DRIP!!, DRIP!!, DRIP!!.

"Urgh!!, oww!!"

I groaned in pain as I clutched my head which was in really bad pain.

What the f**k happened to me?.

I slowly open my eyes and look around through blurred vision.

I was shocked when my vision cleared up and I saw that I wasn't at Milianas nightclub, instead, I was in a dirty, damp cell, what the f**k?.

WHERE THE HELL AM I?.
