I ran, the fear and the anger flooded inside me as I ran through the woods. What the hell just happened? ‘Mate, we need to go back! Our mate is back there!’ My wolf, Daniel yelled into my mind.
I shook my head, growling at him as we winced, seeing the sun rising. The bright light hurt our eyes as we ran to the side instead, away from everyone, away from Easton. ‘This isn’t possible, Daniel. He’s my brother, how the hell can he be my mate? This can’t be possible. Something is wrong, something has to be wrong.’ I said to him, running as fast as I could.
