Chapter 6

When Nick and I arrived in school, we walked together in the hallway. I can see a lot of students are looking in our direction. Most of them are girls. They never giving meaning when I was with him because a lot of student knows that our families our friends.

I notice a lot of girls checking nick out but as I can see he didn’t even notice it.

When we reach our classroom, we went immediately to our seats then and Gio walk closer to my spot.

"Good morning Cath!" Gio greeted me then he turns to nick. He even blinks his eyes. "Good morning Nick."

It’s too early in the morning and look at my gay best friend is already flirting my boyfriend. He really can’t stop doing it every day, can he?

“Good morning.” Nick greeted back.

Gio glances back to me and giving me a look that he wants to know about something. But I shrugged it off.

I turn to Nick and I see that he went to his seat and turn face in blackboard. I thought that Gio went back to his seat but suddenly he spoke beside me

"Where are do you want us to eat later?" Gio asks.

I pulled him closer to the corner of the room.

I smile apologetically to him. “Uhm! Gio I can’t eat lunch with you today Gio.”

Confusion is evident on his face. “Why?”

“Uhm! Because I—"

He cut me off. “No, you need to go with me!” He insisted.

“I’m really sorry Gio, I really can’t go with you”

“And why?” he raises an eyebrow to me.

I heaved a deep sigh. “I’ve already made plans with someone else.”

"What? But I'm your best friend. Is there someone more important than me?” Oh Ow! This is not good.

“It’s not like that —”

He cut me off again. “Come on Cath, Brandon will be there too. He seems to be interested in you and…” he paused and leaned close to me. “you know that his friend Tyrone has a thing on you” he whispered.

I was about to answer him when I saw nick was already walking directly to where we are.

Irritation is evident on his handsome face. I think he heard what Gio says.

“No, she’s not going with you.” He declared.

I flinched. I think he was surprised by Nick's says.

"What did he mean by that Cath?" Gio whispered to me.

Nick went to us and pulled me to him. He pulled up our hand. Intertwined our fingers together.

Gio stares in our hands. “What’s going on Cath?” he confusingly asks.

Before I can say anything, Nick already speaks first. "Don’t introduce her to another man because she's mine."

I can hear around us gasping and shock and they still looking to me and Nick.

“Cath? Are you dating Nick?” he asks intriguingly

Nick answered him for me.

"Yes! We’re dating. I'm her boyfriend and she's my girlfriend. And I’m entitled to own her." He declared casually.

Our classmates started to scream and congratulating me and Nick. A lot of girls ask me when did we start to became an item. I just smile because shyness consuming me.

Gio came to me and start wiggling my arm. "Oh my gosh! You’re so unfair. You didn’t tell me about this. Ghad! I’m so happy for you." He said and turn to Nick. "I'm sorry Nick, I didn’t know. I wouldn’t say it I really know that you two are dating." Gio apologizes to Nick.

Nick nodded his head in response. Gio turned back his gaze on me.

“You have a lot of things to tell me, missy”

I chuckle and shook my head.

Looking at him and smiling to him "What do you want to know?”

“Well, everything."

Gio pulled me near to the corner of the classroom.

"So, tell me everything!" he demanded as we sit on the chairs.

"Do I have to tell you the details?" I ask. He really wants to know everything now.

"Of course! I need to hear the whole story. I’ll be mad if you don’t. Do want me to be mad at you?"

I shook my head. "of course not!"

"Then spill it"

"Okay. So, he confessed to me last night and we start dating that night too."

His mouth fell open. “what? Isn’t it too soon?”

I nod at his question.

“Oh, my G!” I can see him giggling about it.

“Was it bad? You know, when I accepted his feelings just like that?”

He sighed. “Of course not. I'm so happy for you cath. After years of loving him from afar, at last, you got him.”

My cheek starts to heated because of what Gio said. This is a really wonderful dream.

I look around, my eyes widen in shock to see Nick standing behind Gio and by the looks of him, I know he heard everything Gio said. He was smirking while looking at me.

“Cath? What’s wrong? You’re blushing. Oh, I knew it! You were imagining about Nic---” I didn’t let him finish his sentence and cover his mouth.

I raised my eyebrows for him to shut up. It looks like Gio gets it. He turned around and see Nick standing.

Nick tilted his head. "The class will start gio. I think, I should take Cath to her back on her sit." He’s looking at Gio while smiling.

Gio nodded.

I was about to stand up when Nick placed a hand in front of me. I slowly accepted it. Gio can't even hide his giggling while looking at me as we walk back to my seat.
