She wept bitterly on my shoulder, hugging me tighter and tighter as she did. I hugged her too, I missed her with every fiber of my being, I needed her, and she was finally here, I couldn't have a better birthday. She held my shoulders at arm's length, her face shifting into a furious state for a split second, dashing me a stinging slap right across the face, tears still flooding down her face, back to its ugly cry expression, “I guess I deserved that,” I mumbled, chuckling slightly and she copied, crashing back on me into a bear hug. “Y-you’re going to tell me everything, and I mean everything about why the hell you are here!” She sobbed, her long eyelashes wet above her brown eyes. I nodded, cleaning the tears off her cheeks with my thumbs. We left the garden, passing the grand stairs
