Master Tenshi's training II

Looking at what Max has just done, Master Tenshi only let out a small smile. After all, it seemed easy at first, but it is hard when one tried it himself.

“Anyway, your group is composed of one fire element, one wind element, one sound element, one ice element, one light element, and one beast transformation. It doesn’t matter what element you have. You should be able to fill the balloon with your power. Except for the beast transformation, I have another test for you.”

Alan is the only body manipulation hero among the group, so it is normal for his training to be different.

“Can you show me your transformation?”

With Master Tenshi requesting it from him nicely, how can Alan refuse? Soon, Alan’s body is covered in fur as his body transformed. However, a few seconds later, Master Teshi waved his hand as if it was enough.

“For you, your first test will be transforming your pinky finger without transforming the rest of your body.”

Hearing that, Alan is confused and tried to do what Master Tenshi asked him. However, it is more challenging than what he initially thought. The moment Alan wanted to transform only his pinky finger, his arm also automatically transformed into that of a beast.

“This is called partial transformation. Tried to do it, then you can be considered to have succeeded.”

Master Tenshi then looked at the rest of the group and frowned.

“Why haven’t any of you tried to fill the balloon?”

Iki, as the most spontaneous one, then replied as even he found it unacceptable.

“Master, I didn’t mean to be rude. Filling the balloon with elements might be easy for some elements like water or air. However, for fire element heroes like me, how is that even possible? I will be burning the balloon instead.”

After hearing that, Master Tenshi shook his head.

“It seemed that you guys are still too amateurish to understand this first test. And you said that fire wouldn’t be possible to fill the balloon? Look.”

Master Tenshi then put another balloon above his hand, and everyone present can feel the movement of fire elements in the air. Soon enough, a spark of fire is created in the air, and the fire squirmed into the balloon and filled it up.

Everyone couldn’t believe what they are seeing as the balloon is filled up with fire. They even forget the fact that Master Tenshi just used two different elements just now. Even Iki has his mouth open wide in disbelief.

“How is this possible?”

“There. I showed you guys how it is done. Don’t even try to make an excuse saying that it isn’t possible to fill it up with sound or light now. If it isn’t possible in the first place, I wouldn’t ask you guys to do it. Now, you guys should try to do it. Let me see how many of you could pass my first test.”

Master Tenshi then returned to his original spot as he sat down above the rock beside the creek. He closes his eyes as if he has gone into a deep meditation state. Looking at that, the group has no other choice but to try and fill the balloon.

Max has the advantage since wind is the most common thing to fill a balloon with. However, from his earlier try, he knows that it wasn’t as easy as it seems. Nevertheless, since this is the first test given to them by Master Tenshi, he can’t give up just yet.

Max tried to do it once more, but the balloon always flew away from his hand no matter what he tried to do. It just doesn’t want to sit in place as it swayed the moment he commanded the wind to fill the balloon, it just flew away. Like a leaf swaying in the wind, it is impossible since nothing holds the balloon in his hand. No matter how he thinks about it, it seemed to be impossible. However, Master Tenshi just showed him that it was possible. He even succeeds in using fire to do that.

When the fire fills up the balloon, he could feel the movement of the fire element, and it is surprising how it could fill the balloon without damaging it. After persisting for half an hour without any result, Max tried to look at how the other is doing.

“Aargh, D*rn!”

Iki is screaming out while cursing. After all, the balloon in his hand started to burn when he tried to command the fire to fill the balloon up. He already lost count at how many balloons Iki has burned since not even a minute has passed since Max observed Iki, and more than six balloons have turned to ash.

Moving to another person, Max saw Kieran lost in thoughts. After all, Kieran has tried it before, but he doesn’t have any idea how to fill the balloon using sound. So far, he always thinks that the power of sound is intangible. How to use something intangible to fill something tangible? After all, Kieran couldn’t even touch his own sound.

The following person that Max examined is Giovanni. Giovanni himself tried his best, but the result is a balloon with holes in them. The moment the light ray that Giovanni summoned to fill the balloon comes into contact with it, it immediately pierces the balloon and left a hole in them.

Sensing that he couldn’t learn anything from Giovanni, his gaze turned to Elica as the only girl in the group. Just like Max, her power didn’t damage the balloon directly. It just turned the balloon into a block of ice before she thawed it again, and the balloon returned to normal. Unlike Max’s power that keeps on sending the balloon away from the top of his palm, Elica’s didn’t cause the balloon to move much.

Max looked at her closer and realized that the thing that is stopping Elica’s balloon from going out from her hand is because the ice is holding it in place. After thinking for a while, Max arrived at a conclusion.

“Should I use the wind to hold the balloon in place?”
