We had been traveling in the opposite direction that I had sent Amber and Lily off in with the driver from Alpha King Andrew when Tom suddenly slammed his foot on the brakes and we screeched to a halt in the middle of the backroad.
“What’s going on?” I growled impatiently, eager to be off and hunt down these motherfuckers that had the audacity to try and go after my mate.
