The group got up and left at the same time, talking and laughing. Despite the partnership, Jessica and Wayne were about the same age. They seemed to gel well and unloaded their burdens of business with each other. It seemed like it was an eternity since Jessica could talk this way with someone. A very familiar car was parked in the corner and it definitely did not look low key. Damn. It was William. Why did he choose to come here out of all the places in the city? As soon as William got down the car, his eyes met hers and the tension between them crackled in the air. Wayne seemed to recognise William and looked back at Jessica. His earlier questions about their relationship were all clarified. "I'll take my leave now. Wouldn't want to disturb you two," he smiled and walked away.
