AURORA
My head spinned as the effects of the alcohol kicked in. I tried to feign nonchalance ahd pretend like everything was fine but I was too affected by Kane's intense eyes as he peered down at me. I stood immediately and staggered to the side slightly. I was too tired and I was too exhausted. My vision became blurry as I swayed to the side.
Immediately Kane appeared by my side and steadied me immediately as I was about to fall down.
“Be careful” he said and helped me settle back into the vinyl seat.
“I knew that allowing you to have a glass was a bad idea but I guess the you just wanted to prove a point like you usually
do” he murmured.
“I wasn't trying to prove anything. I simply wanted to have a drink and how I do it or what I decide to drink is entirely none of your business”
