Two weeks later, I was woken up by the sound of Colt grunting awake in surprise, his chain dragging him backward against the wall. Instantly the shred of cloth was heard as he transformed into a wolf, growling and howling in anger. Unfortunately, these chains were tinged with magic, and they closed in on his ankle whether he was in human form or wolf form. “Down, boy.” A female voice said from the front of the cage. I was able to see her even if the others couldn’t. I don’t know why, but when I first got here I couldn’t see in the dark, but recently I was able to again.
